By the time the sun had finally made its way into the sky I could feel the toll of no sleep on my body. I got up and washed my face and got into a fresh pair of clothes, I headed down to where Cody had told me to meet him for breakfast.
When I got down there he was no where in sight, I decided that I should wait a little longer for him, and took a seat by some windows. The smell of bacon soon became strong and my stomach gave a loud growl. Being distracted I drifted off to where the bacon and waffles laid in wait for me to dig in.
Hesitating before I grabbed a plate- thinking maybe he would be upset if I ate without him, but pushed the thought away as my stomach began its whale mating call of a growl.
Soon after I saw a sleepy Cody make his way into the lobby area, his hair being shaggy and bent in every which way- He looked really hot. Sometimes in the mornings during our High school days- he would meet up outside my place with me and go on a jog. He would always have warm coffee in his hands and have the biggest grin on his face- something I rarely saw when it came down to his smile.
"Good morning." his voice gave a deep groggy sound, suggesting he just woke up and had forgotten about coming early for breakfast.
"Morning." I said quickly, shoveling more waffles into my mouth. "I see you didn't hesitate on getting waffles or waiting for me."
"Nope, waffles are waffles,- you can never wait or go wrong with them." Smiling I continued eating.
"Enjoy them because tonight you get to see your first show with me tonight!" He said more enthusiastically then I think he meant to, earning stares from the people around us. I offered him the best reassuring smile I could give.
I was slightly nervous to be at this show with him- I hated big crowds. Especially loud screaming, hysterical teenage girls. His music was really amazing to listen to- but the noise... not so much.
"Can't wait!" Was all I was able to get out, afraid my lying would not be as concealed if I had said any more than what was needed. He grinned ear to ear, got up and walked to get some food.
All I needed to do was get through tonight right? Then the others after would be easy, all I need to do is relax the rest of the tour.
Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a bright flash that disappeared as soon as it came. Soon after the first one came several more.
Cody came back and noticed before he even sat down. "Ella come on over here." He gestured to the corner of the room where there were no windows at all, more private and secluded. "Wh-" He grabbed my wrist and and we walked over to the table. "Paparazzi. Just ignore them- you will learn to eventually I mean." He said rather harshly.
I had only once heard him take such a disliking to one other thing- Golf. Don't ask me why he has just always taken a judgmental cynically tone to golf. "Oh... Okay." Sitting back down, we ate our breakfast in piece, out of the view of the cameras.

Cody had later left for voice and technical rehearsal at the stadium leaving me with some alone time in my hotel room. Plopping down on my bed I looked for things to do in the area.
One of the things that caught my eye was a Spa. After everything that has happened that doesn't sound like to bad of a deal. I grabbed my bag and looked up the directions, thankfully Cody had left the rental car at the hotel and had taken the bus- so getting to the spa was no big deal.
.........
Upon arriving I had noticed several people had followed behind me, ignoring them and thinking nothing of it I continued on my way. Walking inside I saw many slim tan girls waiting around the room, self-doubt filled my head but I quickly pushed the thoughts away. "Whatever is the longest I will take it." I said to the attendant. She smiled punched something into her computer and handed me a ticket and took my name.
"Take a seat and we will call you when we are ready for you- it could take about 30 minutes!" The fake cheerfulness could be sensed from a mile away.
"Thank you!" I walked over and sat down- noticing the crowd of cameras had grown even bigger since the hotel. Was this how it was going to be now? Cameras following my every move no matter where I was going alone or not?
I should have signed a contract or something- at least be prepped for loosing my privacy.
I felt like it was a good idea coming- I could make amends with him over what had happened. He said he forgives me but I don't believe him for one moment- no one can forgive someone so easily after walking out when they are needed the most. At least I wouldn't forgive so easily.
"Isabella Kingsly?" My name rang of the young ladies tongue smooth and soft, relaxing, kind of their job to do that however. Setting my belongings off the the side I went back with her, this will be the first time i relaxed in a long time. I cannot wait to feel refreshed and new, no matter how much it is.
