When everything falls apart

Chapter 1

Hi guys! Just need to get this out of here, but I want to write extreme angst sometimes so yes for all of you who like that, this is your book! Please keep in mind i am not predicting the future (I hope) and everything will be alright!

This is a introduction chapter, so it will be kind of short and yes also a little confusing but that's alright!

2 years, it has been 2 bloody years since we all closed our schools, shops and restaurants. I still remember that stupid day in march, everyone was happy they didn't have school for "2 weeks". Little did they know, they would be locked away for 2 years.

If you look out of your window, you see empty, overgrown streets. Patrols, food delivery, goverment. More then that doesn't exist anymore, no one has the energy or power to stand up for themselfs. Well, almost no one.

We gave up on online school, and with us..

I mean the syndicate.

Everyone who thinks we are just teens, who gave up on school because covid gave us an excuse, are complete idiots. If we just gave up on school because we are lazy, why would we discuss how to save this doomed world?

Well, because our parents don't. The older generation gave up on us, they believe that in a few months covid will be gone and everyone can go back to normal, but what is normal?
People are like little puppies towards the goverment, doing and believing everything they say.

We are sick of it.

And what does humanity do when they get tired of something? Well, most of us would just.. wait. Wait until better times come and the goverment finally announces that we can live again.

And the others, to be honest, go crazy. We are those others, and we came together after the goverment announced the 8th lockdown this year, saying we will be in lockdown from september 22th till november 9th.

So, have you seen all those tiktoks? With people in them who are done with everything, are getting depressed and are slowly going crazy? Well lets be honest, we all are done with this. And exactly this is why they banned tiktok, snapchat, instagram, discord.. phones.. they cut off all contact between people.

Our laptops are being watched, to make sure we only follow our online class on it, and the television is also controlled by the goverment, of course. The only way we can talk with eachother, are letters, and those are dangerous.

No fucking way, they have been promising freedom for 2 years now, but it only gets worse. "Full lockdown" is what we call it, well we ain't following youre stupid rules. We follow our own rules, and there is nothing they can do it about it.

Right?
