The Cold Inside and Out

Chaper 1

         I walk in my kitchen and all I see is my parents body's lying on the floor gutted and cleaned out and all that's left is there fragile bones.

         That was about two months ago I still have questions about that day but the most important one is who did it. Indeed that's exactly what I'm finding out but lets just say not in the best way it could be done. Basically I've been on the hunt sense then and on a killing streak of everyone who wont give me answers, really its the way I cope because I know if I stop all my emotions will catch up to me, and I will not be letting that happen. I would have never thought I would start to enjoy the killing from my very first kill was my ex boyfriend who deserved every bit of what he got. To now I've started doing it for the thrill of not being caught and knowing nobody ever will truly catch me.

        I'm the Killer of Darkness I'm in every newspaper from 1970 and I love every single bit of it they don't even know if I'm a boy or a girl. I am a girl, and my real name is Nerezza Kai, personally I very much dislike my name but its where I got the idea for my nickname from so it doesn't bother me that much anymore. I still use fake names everywhere I go its always been quite fun choosing new names and never being a Kai its refreshing.

        Now today where I'm on a new lead of who my parents killer was or killers and I still dont understand why anyone would do this to my sweet and loving parents. Today I'm heading to Westcount Bar in Georgia my parents and the owner used to be friends back in collage which I found out in my moms old diary she documented everything in her life but never anything about a crazy killer after her which would really help me if she did.Hopefully this guy will know something about my parents just anything will help I've been doing this for two months and still, nothing.

       I arrive at my destination at the Westcount Bar it took about 2 hours to get here so this better be worth my time. The bar if very gorgeous inside maybe the best one I've been to in awhile diamond chandeliers and blue lather seats far to fancy for my taste. I take a seat at the bar and the waitress comes up to me, "what would you like to order today ma'am?" I just tell her I'm looking for the boss and she goes to the back to get him for me I'm guessing, well hoping that's what shes doing. I look around the bar looking for any eyes, I have this strange feeling I'm being watched but everybody is engaging in conversation so I guess I'm just paranoid. So I remind my self I am a badass killer that could take down anyone in one hit, I think I'll be fine.

      "I heard you were looking for me?"I almost jump out of my seat when a voice comes from behind me which I'm guessing is the owner. I turn around and I'm looking at a very good looking man with slicked back blonde hair with a very sharp jawline but he looks like a very happy man with a big smile on his face nothing to be intimidated by.

      "Indeed my names Nerezza Kai and you seemed to be very close with my parents back in collage I was wondering if you knew anybody else they were close to? Additionly do you know any and I mean any information on there murder or who you might think is suspicious?" He stares at me for awhile not knowing what to say maybe in shock? Well of course hes in shock I just showed up to his bar asking about his friends that were murdered and I'm there daughter.

      "Hello Nerezza, its great to finally meet you I'm so dearly sorry about what happened to your parents they were indeed good friends of mine." He looks at me with sympathy I want to tell him I'm fine and I don't care anymore suck it up but I need information from this guy so I have to be nice.

       "Its still a little hard even after all this time." I start to tear up, "I-i-i just w-want some closure." I start to cry harder and look up at him with tears in my eyes.

        "Oh it's ok I'll tell you everything I know sweetie." A little smirk comes onto my face mission complete no one can say no to a sweet little girl crying over her dead parents can they? "Now what I'm about to tell you isthe stuff your parents wanted to keep you safe from but I think itstime for you to know. Lets go to the back to make sure no oneslistening,  you are the only one to know about this you must not tell anyone else." I nodded my head and followed him, then looked around to make sure no one is following us.

        He lead me to a small room and my first instant was it was a trap but I was going to wait for him to make the first move because if he does know anything I have to know to. "Your parents were great people Nerezza they loved you so much." I feel like he might be stalling maybe for a signal I cant take any more chances. I grab him and push him against a wall he tries to punch me but misses then I pull out my knife and put I at his throat I dont have time to mess around.

       "Tell me what I need to know stop stalling," he just stands there still looking around for something then he tries to twist my arm and take my knife but hes a little to slow so I just slice his throat. So much for information from him ill clean up the mess later first I need to search this place for any clues any at all. It might surprise you of how easily I just killed him if it does it shouldn't have I been doing it for two months and don't plan on stopping now.
