*ring ring* It's 3:00 am and Veronica gets a call from the hospital. "Hello?" "Your parents.. they didn't make it." The nurse says. "w-what do you mean?" Veronica's voice cracks and she stutters. "There was a shooting at the airport." Veronica drops the phone in tears, screaming. "What is that noise?!" Nessa says angrily as Veronica's crying wakes her up. "Roni?" She says concerned. "What's going on?" "Mom and dad.. they- they're gone.." Veronica bursts into tears. "..what..?" "There was a shooting at the airport." Veronica says. "Oh.." Nessa tries to hold in her tears. They both go back to bed.
