Chapter 2: rescu

JAMES POV:

I have a sharp pain in the back of my head. I pick my head up and open my eyes. There are kids laying on the ground they look dead but I notice that there still breathing.

I get to my feet and I feel the back of my head, its covered in blood. I start freak out. Then I notice Blake isn't here.I have to say I have feelings for Blake and I care about her so much. I can't even imagine if she was dead. I want to find her to make sure she's alright.

Then all off a sudden I hear what sounds like a gun shot. I sprint in the opposite direction.

I sprint through the hall then I'm pulled into what seems like a maintenance closet. Im looking to see who pulled me in here, it was Blake's older brother Braydon.

"Hey have you seen my sister?" He asks me.

"Sorry I don't know where she is." He turns around and is about to punch the wall but doesn't. Instead he softly lays his head agent it.

"I thought you two had first period together." He mumbles in to the wall.

"We do she just had a bloody nose and was sent to the nurse with Jake." I explain.

He looks at me with anger. Jake is Braydon's archenemy. They have hated each other since 7th grade all because of a roomer. "Wait are you telling me my sister is with that stupid punk."

I don't want to say anything to get him even madder. "I'm going after them." He tells me in anger I can tell once he sees Jake he's going to kill him.

"I'm not going out there I think I heard gun shoots." I tell him trying to convince him not to go out there.

"Who said you had to come." He opens the door and starts running...

It's been ten minutes since Braydon left and I finally open the door to go find them. Then I'm shot with some type of dart. I try to run but my vision gets blurry and I fall to the ground. Laying there I feel to tired to do any thing.

BLAKES POV:

I'm laying on the ground against something. I open my eyes and every thing seems blurry, then my vision clears and I see what I'm laying against. It's Jakes arm behind my head.

I quickly move off his arm before he re gains consciousness so it's not awkward. I knee right next to him and shake his leg.

"What the heck happened?" He opens his eyes and stared at me.

"I don't know. Last thing I remember is being thrown in to the wall." I answer his question.

I stand up and hold out my arm to help him up. He grabs my hand and I pull him up.

"Thanks you...." He thanks me but doesn't know my name.

"My name is Blake and I already know your name its Jake." He nods showing I got his name right.

We start walking to see if we could find anyone that new what happened.

Out of nowhere a electrical wire falls from the ceiling. "Watch out!" Jake yells and pushes me against the wall. I'm now sandwiched between Jake and the wall and we stand there staring at each other.

"Jake get away from her!" Braydon yells turning a corner and starts to sprint towards us.

When Braydon gets to us he punches Jake in the face and then again in the stomach. Jake punches Braydon in stomach then knees him.

"Stop!" I cry. "stop!" I cry again. They won't stop. I try and pull them off each other but they won't stop fighting.

So I do what I always do when I'm mad. I run, I run as fast as I can down the hall. They don't notice I'm gone.

I make a couple turns until I see someone with a gun. They see me and start running after me. I run the other way but another person with a gun blocks me. I can't run any where.

"Calm down where not going to hurt you." One of the men step a little closer.

I don't trust them. "Braydon!" I yell at the top of my lungs.

One of them try to shoot me but he misses and then the man from behind shoots and It skims my arm. Then I see Braydon and Jake run towards me. The man in front of me shoots and hits me right in the shoulder.

Braydon sees what happened and sprints as fast as he can. The man that shot me turn and aims for Braydon. Braydon try's to dodge it but can't and falls to the ground.

My vision starts to blur and I hear a gun shot. I think it hits Jake but I'm not sure. Then I finally get extremely sleepy and my legs feel numb. Then I start to doses.
