Hello to the lovely readers that read my story. As you probably already know I have changed the storyline. Something was supposed to happen halfway though the story that was going to change many lives but mostly Maddi's. I decided that the old story line was a bit too dramatic and sad and many of you will find it heartbreaking so that is why I'm changing it to something more pleasant. I am not going to change what I have written so far, I'm just going to change what was going to happen. If you want to know what was going to happen in Halfway Secret then I can always write it up again after I have finished this story because I know many of my friends loved the idea. Thank you and I'm sorry if there is any inconvenience.

Also I'm sorry for the delay of time to update. I've had so much homework and many exams for the end of the year and I had no time to write at all and also I took quite a lot of time deciding whether I should change the story line or not.

I must be boring you now so I'm going to stop and you read the chapter :)

"Amy? It's time to leave!" I called out from the door.

I got frustrated of waiting and went inside my house to look for her.

I found her talking to my mum. I stood there trying to listen to what they were whispering about.

"Omg I can't wait to tell her! She'll be so surprised." Amy clapped her hands, even though I couldn't see them as I hid behind the wall, I could always guess that it was Amy by her actions and here the action is excitement. Me and Amy always got too excited about everything.

"Just make sure you don't tell her while on the trip though because you'll ruin the big surprise party that I'm planning! One surprise after another, she will be so surprised!!" Mum spoke up louder than her usual whisper. I hope she didn't know that I was eavesdropping.

I found my turn to break up the conversation.

"Amy come on! We'll be late!" I walked in from behind the wall making it as less obvious as possible that I wasn't there for the whole time.

Amy looked at my mum and hugged her, then she came and walked towards me.

"Well it was about time you two showed up!" Dimmie said once we walked out the door.

"Where's everyone else?" My eyes searched the area for the others but I couldn't find them.

"They're waiting in the car, they have been for about 10-15 minutes now!" He stared at the large watch that was on his wrist.

"I'm sorry I had to go to the loo!"

"And that took you ten minutes?"

"Yeah, you know I always go on my phone while in the toilet and then I searched my bedroom for anything I might have forgotten." I made everything up as I went along except for the phone part, while on the toilet is a perfect time to go through social media otherwise it's just a waste of time.

I heard a little sigh of relief and I'm pretty sure that it was Amy thanking that I wasn't eavesdropping her and mum's conversation.

"IF YOU THREE WASTE ANOTHER MINUTE I SWEAR WE ARE GOING TO LEAVE WITHOUT YOU!!" Jake's deep voice called out from the car.

"Ok, calm your tits down! I need to talk to my mum, Amy go in the car with Dimmie." I tapped Amy's back and walked towards my mum who was giggling at us.

"I'll tell your dad you said 'Hi'!" Mum gave out a warming smile.

"First time he comes to the house without seeing Poppy." I looked to the ground.
