"Tobias Grey..."
I love the way the name rolls off of my tongue, I sit in the darkness of my room testing the way it sounds coming from my voice. It's early in the morning, I'd say 4am. His face is haunting me, the only men I've killed are the ones attacking me through all hours of the day. Is this worth my freedom?
I've decided yes, after pondering the question until the sun had risen. I do not know this man and killing is what I do best, no time to have feelings now Silver.
A man comes into my room a couple hours later and tells me to begin preparing, so I choose what I want out of the few things I've been given, a change of clothes, sunglasses, money, my pills (in case my headaches come back) and of course, my knives and various poisons.
After I chuck on the same outfit from yesterday, apply a little makeup and tidy my hair into a semi-decent ponytail, I'm ready to go. My collar is removed and I'm given an apple as 'breakfast'.
I step into the car of the man who is driving me to my destination, only to be met with the dude who hit on me just yesterday, a smile reaches my face, could today get any better?
"Hello again" I say sweetly, watching him while I take a bite out of my red apple, daring him to make the wrong move. Begging for a chance to watch my knife sink into his throat.
"Nuh uh princess, I ain't falling for that innocent act again, you killed my best friend" he stutters. I almost feel bad for him. Almost.
"Oops" I add before giggling (adorably, if I might add) I could get used to this side of me, I sigh. But it is not who I am.
We drive through a beautiful town, full of happy people going about their busy days, building after building goes past and I soak it all in. Who knows how long my freedom will last, this job already has me on edge.
I check myself over in the mirror, my brown hair is in a high ponytail that reaches just under my shoulder blades. A light splatter of freckles is visible due to the lack of makeup I have on, although my eyes are lined with mascara covered lashes.
I take this opportunity to check my neck, there's light bandaging over a large gash in my throat, its ugly and perhaps slightly infected, judging by the red rimmed edges of my lacerated skin. I pull the bandages and the collar of my sweater upwards, no longer feeling ready for what is coming next.
The car parks down the street from one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen, with huge windows and a very cabin type vibe to it, apart from the fact that it is massive, more like a mansion.
I can see many cars around the property, some of quite high quality too, I'm guessing by the shapes, colours and pretty logos. As we come to a stop I have to get my story straight before I barge in there.
My name is Silver and I am lost
I step out of the car and give the man driving me a quick wink before grabbing out my bag and beginning my walk up the steep and long driveway.
My name is Silver and I am lost, I ran away from home
I reach the front door and raise my hand to knock.
My name is silver and I am lost, I ran away from home, please save me
Before I get the chance to knock, the door is pulled open in front of me...
please save me
