I was back at the bathhouse. As we were taking a break in front of the AC, the old lady walked towards me. "(y/n)," she started. I stared at the watermelon in my hand, still listening. "I know I keep saying this but please enroll in a school." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"I want the best for you. I'll even pay for it. I know that you're not getting homeschooled. At least finish high school."

I got up from my seat, placing the watermelon slice back on the plate, and started walking towards the cleaning utensils.

"It breaks my heart to see you by yourself. If you go to school you might be able to make good friends. Maybe even become a hero. I don't know if you have a quirk or not but you are a sweet girl an-"

"For the last time, I'm not going to school," I said with anger in my voice and my back facing her.

I left the bathhouse. We were running out of bleach anyways. Hopefully, I'll cool down by then. I hate it when my temper goes out of control, especially when I'm around her.

I could see the old lady's sad face. I hate myself. If only I can apologize like a normal person. Me and my stupid pride. I decided to buy her one of her favourite snacks as an apology. An onigiri.

As I walked back to the bathhouse, with the bleach in one hand and snacks in the other, I heard a loud noise. It was pretty late in the afternoon so not many people were in the streets. I ran towards the noise and saw a man run away from the bathhouse. The building collapsed. I stood there staring at the sight in horror. 'THE OLD LADY!!'

I ran towards the building, hoping that she was not in, somehow got lucky and missed the accident. My knees trembled in fear and I fell to the ground. All I saw was an arm poking out from the rubble. There was a familiar bracelet on that arm.

It was the bracelet I gave the old lady last year for Christmas. I wanted to give her something, even though it was small, for taking care of me. I held the cold hand tightly around my palm. Then some people started surrounding the ruble.

I remembered seeing a guy run away from the building right before it collapsed! IT WAS HIS FAULT!! I slowly took the bracelet off her wrist and held it carefully in my palm.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

The old lady's funeral ended yesterday. I couldn't go to the funeral home since they only let family and relatives in. I stared at the gravestone which had a beautiful portrait with her smiling. She deserved to live, not him! I said my final farewells to the lady before walking away.

I WILL CATCH HIM IF IT'S THE LAST THING I'LL DO!

I started the search and continued to look for him. I know that he could have moved cities or gone into hiding, but if I had the slight chance of seeing him tonight, I'll make him PAY!

The day started turning into night. I climbed up to the roof of the smaller apartments, hoping to get a better view of the bottom. When I passed by one of the alleyways, I saw a familiar jacket.

Narrator's P.O.V.

(Y/n) slowly turned towards that alleyway and there she saw the same man crouching in the corner, going through a bag.

"If only that jewelry store was open. That damn Arishima (made-up character) HAD to go missing that day. Tch. I could have made big bucks but I'm stuck with a few hundred thousand yen (a few hundred dollars)."

(Y/n)'s hair covered her eyes. A dark aura surrounding her. The male looked around him as he felt a chill. He went back to looking through the bag grumbling about not having stolen enough money.

She didn't bother to cover her face and quietly approached the man from behind. He turned around when he heard some footsteps walking towards him. He relaxed when he saw a female.

"Move out of the way bitch. I'm already having a bad day and don't wanna have your fat ass ruin it even more"

He stared at the girl annoyed and was about to walk away before his body froze. He could not move. "What in the...." He said as he struggled to move. "Is this your quirk bitch?! Let go of me right now before things get worse!!"

(Y/n) just stood there, anger flowing through her veins. If it weren't for him she would've been alive. If it weren't for him she would've been alive. If it weren't for him she would've been alive. If it weren't for him s-

As her anger increased, the male's body started twisting and turning in the wrong way. "ARRGGGHHHH" He screamed.

(Y/n) let go of the male and started walking away, leaving the male screaming in agony until he passed out. She watched him from above with a smirk on her face. Bitch got lucky that I didn't actually kill him.

She watched him be taken away by an ambulance and followed it. She wanted to hear the damage she dealt him. She wanted him to suffer. (Y/n) stood near one of the vending machines when she overheard the doctor say "You most likely would not be able to move without the help of a wheelchair for the rest of your life."

(Y/n) wanted to laugh her ass off.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I kept regretting everything that I did around the old lady. My personality, actions, words,... Then I remembered what the old lady told me. 'Please enroll in a school..'

But I don't wanna. I like staying home. No unnecessary human interactions. I groaned as the old lady's words kept repeating in my head.

I walked to a small corner of my room. There was a dirty shoe box covered in dust. Didn't think I was gonna open this for a while.

I opened the box to reveal a few clothes that don't fit me anymore. At the bottom of the box, there was a piece of paper with a card. I remember taking it with me when I ran away from home because it looked important.

*flashback*

After the accident, my body still trembling, I walked towards my dad's room to see if there was anything I needed before I left this house for good.

I looked through one of the drawers and saw a card with a picture of me and a piece of paper. It looked like both of them haven't been touched for a few years.

Since 'he' taught me how to read, I saw that on the card it had my name. I only saw my name but wasn't able to understand the rest. On the paper, it had "BIRTH ***********" written in bold letters on top. I don't know how to read the second word since it was too big.

I took the very few clothes I had with me and left the house with the paper and card in my hand.

*flashback ends*

I looked down at the card which had a picture of me. I don't remember this at all.

NAME: (Y/n) (L/n)

Birth date: xxxx/02/09

Blood type: O

Expiry date: xxxx/xx/xx

Wow. I looked disgusting. I shoved the card back into my pocket. It's weird knowing when my birthday is now since I've used a different date for it this entire time.

Not like I celebrated my birthday anyways.

'I really am unlucky huh.....' I said as I remembered all the events that had occurred on the day called my birthday...
