Nothing was worse than being trapped inside during the pouring rain. The Park-Kim house was filled with four teens, each bored out of their minds. Wooyoung had been tapping away mindlessly at his phone, San was floating aimlessly through the air, Yeosang was speeding up and down the halls and Jongho had been staring at the same page of his book for the past five minutes. "I can't stand the rain..." Groaned San.

"Me neither," Wooyoung sighed in agreement. "I can't think of anything more annoying."

Yeosang scoffed at him, muttering: "I can..." Jongho rolled his eyes and tossed his book at the young angel's head. Yeosang dodged it in the flash of an eye and ran behind the brunette to grab him.

"Stop it you two," Sighed Wooyoung as he watched Yeosang try to strangle the poor boy. Yet neither Wooyoung nor San did anything to pry him off. It was the most interesting thing to happen all day.

"We left you all alone for ten minutes and you're fighting already?" They all turned their heads to see Seonghwa and Hongjoong walking into the living room. The latter sighed as he pulled them apart while Seonghwa went off to the kitchen to make lunch for everyone. "Mingi owes me for having us watch you two while he's out with Yunho, I swear I can only handle two teens at a time."

"Sorry Mr Park-Kim, it won't happen again," Jongho muttered, while Yeosang only ran to the couch, flopping down face first.

"Hey! Quit it with all that running!" Yelled Seonghwa towards the angel. "You're going to knock something over or get your footprints everywhere! I already have footprints on my ceiling..." Courtesy of San and occasionally Hongjoong when he started thinking just a bit too much. Speaking of the chaos demon, he finally stopped floating and slid down next to Wooyoung with a loud groan.

"I'm boooooored!" He whined. "Dad, what do you and father do to keep yourselves occupied?" Hongjoong blushed and turned to Seonghwa who only smirked.

"Wouldn't you like to know~" He teased.

"Gross hyung," Gagged Jongho.

"You two really love your physical contact, don't you?" Remarked Yeosang. "Neither of you are demons of seduction, nor do you have any powers relating to romance or desire. So what's with the constant intercourse?"

San hummed in agreement, not at all phased by such a blunt question whilst Jongho and Wooyoung looked to tell the angel off. "Yeah...does it have to do with how you two met or something?" Seonghwa came out of the kitchen, tilting his head at Hongjoong.

"Should we tell the story?" Asked the older demon.

"I don't see why not." San cheered and snuggled up closer to Wooyoung, who wrapped his arm around him. Jongho and Yeosang sat together on the floor, while Seonghwa and Hongjoong were seated in front of them. "So, I suppose we should start at the beginning?"

"Let's see, that would be about four-hundred years ago..."

------------------------------

"STOP STOP STOP!"

"Please, I beg you!"

"Let me go!"

"IT HURTS!"

Hongjoong had heard it all before. He was numb to their pleads and cries of agony. Every single day it was the same thing. Come to work, torture the newest humans sent to the chamber, go home, repeat. It was all very monotonous, but Hongjoong didn't mind. This was his life for the past one hundred years. By now he had just accepted that this was just destined to be his life. Emotionless and soulless.
