Just wanted to say thank you for getting Hell Born to 4k! I honestly never thought it would get this far! What kind of chapter should I do to celebrate? (Not a family flashback, I've already got one planned ;3) Woosan fluff, Jongsang, Seongjoong past or present (maybe even more of the basement) You choose!

The bright rays of the sun glistened through the blinds of the bedroom. Yunho sighed in delight, soaking in as much of its energy as he could before his lids finally fluttered open. His eyes travelled to his right, surprised to see that he was the only one in the bed. With his brows furrowed, Yunho sat up and called for his missing companion. "Mingi?" No reply. He thought that he may have been taking a shower yet the water wasn't running. In fact, it was clear that the bathroom had been used earlier this morning.

The angel frowned. He checked the kitchen, the living room, the garden - Mingi was nowhere in sight. "Where on earth could he be?" For a few moments, he racked his brain as to where he could've gone off to. The cafe was closed and he knew for a fact that he didn't have classes on Sunday. After a bit of thinking, it finally hit him.

Just to be safe, Yunho peered into Jongho and Yeosang's room. He could hear them snoring peacefully from just behind the door. Good, they were still fast asleep. With that, Yunho closed his eyes, and when he reopened them, he was in the park. Once he arrived, it didn't take long for him to spot Mingi at his usual spot, his head hung and his fingers laced between each other.

"Mingi?" When he heard his name, the younger man looked up and, ever so slowly, turned to him. His eyes were light red, dried tears on his cheeks. Yunho's eyes widened and he hastily rushed to comfort him.

"Yunho? How did you know I'd be here?" Mingi asked in a hushed tone.

"I remember you told me, this is where you come to get a moment to yourself. I couldn't find you this morning, so I assumed you may be here." The younger sniffed, wiping his nose and averting his gaze yet again.

"I'm sorry for worrying you," He whispered. "I've just got a lot on my mind..."

"Care to talk about it? It may relieve some of your stress." Mingi finally looked up at Yunho, greeted with his warm smile. It was so small yet the Sun itself couldn't compare. It brought brightness to Mingi's soul.

The brunette gathered his breath, stuttering out a sigh. "This is the day someone very special was taken from me...we used to come here together almost every day before he passed."

"He sounds like he was very important to you."

"He was...He was my best friend, and the love of my life." Yunho felt his stop and then shatter. The love of his life? Of course. Despite his feelings, Yunho continued to hold the younger, stroking his soft hair.

"What was his name?"

"Hwanwoong..." Mingi replied, a tiny smile on his lips. "He died this time last year. We were on our way to a date. I-It was dark and we couldn't see very well. A-And I leaned over t-to kiss him on the cheek but when I did he saw a deer in the middle o-of the road. He swerved and hit a tree." Mingi stopped himself, noticing the heavy tears running down his face. He allowed himself to relax at least a little before he continued.

"I-I'm not sure how long we were out, b-but when I woke up I saw him lying beside me...just as he flatlined...If I hadn't distracted him like that, he'd still be here. He'd be sitting with me, holding me, and telling me everything would be okay but it's not! It's my fault Yunho, it's my fault he's gone!"

Mingi gasped when he was pulled right into Yunho's arms. "Listen to me Mingi," He said softly. "Do not ever blame yourself. It is not your fault, nor will it ever be. You didn't know that deer would appear and you had no idea the car would swerve. You are not at fault here." Mingi nodded through his tears as Yunho continued to stroke his hair and whisper sweet nothings to him. He made sure to tell him over and over that what happened wasn't his fault, complimenting him and doing his best to keep his spirits high.
