"Danielle breakfast and family meeting!"
I jogged down the stairs to be meet with my family, well part of it.
"Moms where's Dylan and Dad?"
"Outside" She said as if on cue my father and brother walk in. Dylan in a band t-shirt and jeans ,my father in jeans and a random t-shirt, their typical Saturday outfits. We all sat down in the dining table my parents sat far from each other as usual. I looked at the food my mother had made and started filling my plate along with my father, Dylan, Derek and chad, Cassidy shook her head while mom just looked at us. I silently ate my food, soon nothing was on my plate I stood up and washed my plate.
"Your mother and I have some news"
"Yes, your father and me just finished our divorce papers" Not like we didn't see it coming.
"We're not arguing or fighting over who lives with who. Which is why each of you gets to chose who you want to live with" My father said cue the shocked expressions and dramatic cries from Cassidy. I didn't have to think about who I chose all that kept racing through my mind was one question, "who would my brothers choose?"
"I'm staying with dad" I say standing next to my father.
"Mom" Cassidy says
"Mom" Chad says
"Dad!" Derek says then stops when Dylan whispers something in his ear, "Dylan says dad too"
"Okay kids now go pack!" My dad says to my brothers and I . We all run up the stairs to our rooms. I grab boxes and start packing up the proof of my hobbies. I started organizing all my jerseys in a suitcase, as well as my other clothes. My shoes then filled up the remaining box.
"HERMANITA!! I can't believe you won't be with me everyday! I'm going to miss my champion!" [little sister] Chad said as he hugged me. Chad and I had tears in our eyes. You read it here folks bad boy Chad was crying ,because his baby sister was moving out. We heard someone clear their throat interrupting our hug. We turned to see Cassidy
"You know, I'm glad you chose dad, now I don't have to live with the embarrassment of having you as my sister"
As you can tell I'm not her favorite. I never understood why. I never interfered with her relationship with mom or friendships.
"Cassidy! Why do you have to be a bitch?"
"It's fine Chase I don't mind, I never wanted a sister anyways." And with that Cassidy left.
"Promise me we'll skype and text everyday" I looked at the 17 year old sticking pinky out his pinky I gladly took it.
"Promise." He then left to his own room while I crawled to Dylan and Derek's room through a small door in the closet.
"D!" " Hey Dan! I'm glad we're moving with dad I can finally speak and not be scared"
Before I continue let me explain why Dylan doesn't speak he has lisp and he shutters a lot because of this he was bullied mostly by mom who called dylan the glitch, he once over heard her call him that to our grandparents and since that day dylan chose to never speak directly to anyone ,but the people that actually showed love and care for him.
"I know D you can finally crawl out of your shell. Have y'all finished packing?"
"Not exactly, we need our sports gear put in boxes."
"You two haven't packed the most important thing?! I'll help!"
"By help you mean sit on the bed and tell us to work faster? " Derek says
"Are you implying I'm lazy? I'm offended that you think such a thing!" I say acting offended
"Oh com'on on Dan you know you're one of the laziest people in Texas!"
"Derek, sweetheart you say many lies it's not healthy"
"Both of Y'all shush and help me!" A frustrated Dylan who couldn't seem to figure out how the tape worked.
+Next day+
"Babe I can't believe you're leaving me!! " whined Veronica Dylan's girlfriend. Cue the shuttering from Dylan. Oh my cupcakes do I have to do everything for this child. I took Dylan's phone from his hands.
"Um yeah hi this is Danielle and I'm sorry to tell you this ,but Dylan is breaking up with you."
"Wait what? oh hey Dani!" Rick spoke. Wait Rick?
"Hey Rickster why are you on the phone? "
"Well Veronica is my cousin and her phone was on speak-That little bitch is gonna hear it from me! Saying Dylan is breaking up with me? Who does she think she is! Rick are you still talking to that creature you call a friend?! " Rick spoke but was cut of by Veronica's high pitched screams.
"Hmm I never thought you're family included drama queens. Sorry to break it to you Hun. So please accept the break up, before you lose your dignity. Bye! Kisses!" I Said before hanging up
"You're welcome, now come on I'm driving!" I said
We're moving already. Dad couldn't wait to have us all in the new house. Our childhood was shoved into boxes, as well as things that mom didn't want were in a moving truck. Dad volunteered to take the van to the New house while Derek, Dylan and myself went in Dylan and I's jeep. I hugged mom then Cassidy and finally Chad.
"Bye" I said before walking out of my old house, and hopping on the driver seat.
"Come on Dan, dad already left!" Derek yelled
"I'm going!" I said as I used the PRNDL
"I can't believe " Derek began
"We're splitting" Dylan continued
"Dallas" I finished
