Marie pov:

Babysitting. Not my best idea, but I couldn't say no to Nadja and Manon. Since my parents and siblings weren't home, I thought it would be a perfect time to babysit. Well...I was wrong. Manon is MAJOR handful. We hung out for a bit, but then she got bored and decided to go through my designing stuff and found a hat I was working on. "Come on, Manon, give that back!" I chase after the little de- I mean angel! She giggles as I chase after her. "But I wanna be a fashion designer too!" She stands on the couch but moves before I can catch her, causing me to slam headfirst into the couch. "Manon, please, it's not finished! You're gonna ruin it!" I hear her giggle from under the table, so I follow. "Huh?" She disappears from under the table, causing me to crash into it stools and hit my head. "Ah! Nnnngh..." I groan and crawl around the floor, looking for her. "Hmmm...Huh?"

I notice her silhouette behind the curtains. "Ah!" I giggle tiptoe over to the curtain and open it, only to see her doll instead. I gasp and nearly panic, thinking I lost her until I hear the sound of buttons. "I'm gonna vote for Mireille, she's the best!" Manon says while messing with my phone. "Hey, my phone!" I take my phone back, only for the little girl takes my hat once again. I sigh heavily. "Ughhh... Why did I agree to do this again?" I say to myself. Tikki pops out from in my hair. I gasp, afraid that sneaky Manon would see her. "Stay low, Tikki!" "Don't worry. You know what? If you can handle Manon for a day, any villain here on out will be a piece of cake." She tells me as the doorbell rings. She slips back into my hair as I walk to the door. I open it to see my BFF waving. "Alya?"

"Hey, I got a huge scoop for you. Guess who's on a photoshoot in the park?" She says as she shows me a picture of my crush, Adrien posing in the park. I gasp excitedly and took a look at the picture on her phone. "Now? Adrien is in the park right now?" "As we speak!" I smile. "I'll finally get the chance to talk to him! "Oh, gosh! What...what am I gonna say to him?" "Anything you want girl! You just have to be confident! You've spoke to him before, now you just have to ask him out." I open my mouth, but before I could speak, Manon pops out from between my legs. "Uh, who's she?" I scratch my head. "Whoops! I forgot about this little detail."  "And who's she?" Alya gestures to the little girl. "This is Manon, one of my mom's friends' daughters. I'm watching her all afternoon." I gasp. "Oh no! I can't go out!" "Let me guess. Another "you couldn't say no" favor?" Alya knows me WAY too well. "No, I just couldn't... say... no..." I try to defend myself but fail. "Look, no problem! I'll look after your little detail for you." Alya offers. But I have to decline. Manon is my responsibility and I can't put her off on my best friend. Manon runs off and I turn back to Alya.

"Thanks, but I'm responsible for her... Besides, I couldn't do that to you. She's...an absolute angel!" I scream as I hear a crash coming from the kitchen. I run after Manon who is playing with a pot and spatula. "Manon! Put that down! Ugh! Come back!" Eventually I catch her and bring her back over to Alya as she tries to pull away from me. "You're just a pushover, Marie. I have to babysit my sisters all the time, which makes me an expert in dealing with "angels"." "Who are you, anyway?" Manon questions Alya. Alya gets down to Manon's level. "I'm a mythical unicorn from the world of Reespa, disguised as a totally fabulous human girl! I grant magical wishes, but only to little monkeys who behave!" She boops her nose. Manon laughs. "No, you're not! ...Are you?" Alya grabs her and flies her in the air before plopping her on my shoulder. "Okay, let's all go to the park!" She says as she walks out. I stare in disbelief. Wow. She's good! "Yay!" Manon cheers. I smile and follow after my best friend. "Okay!"

10 minutes later, we make it to the park. We stand behind a tree as I try to grab the courage to talk to Adrien. I watch as he posses. Gosh he's so handsome! I've talked to him before, but this time, I was going to ask him out! I come up with a plan. "Come on. We're gonna stroll over there real cool as if we just happened to be passing by." "Then what?" Alya asks. I think of a plan. "Maybe I can I'll invite him out for a fruit smoothie at the end of the photo shoot!" As I attempt to think of what I'd do after that, I end up getting lost in my thoughts. Maybe after that, we'll get married! Live happily ever after in a beautiful house and have two kids? No, three. And a dog! Maybe a cat? Nah, forget the cat. A hamster! I love hamsters!....no wait! I laugh nervously as shake my thoughts. Woah. Calm down Marie! Don't get day-dreamy. I shake my head to snap out of it.
