We just started what is supposed to be our tour of our new home. Antonio is in front of us while Benjamin is standing next to Lilliana slightly behind her to her right while I'm on her left. I think he is afraid that she's gonna fall and I won't be able to catch her. Meanwhile I know to be on high alert to watch my twin and am already three steps ahead.
Antonio decided to start on the first floor so we've currently seen the kitchen, living and dining room.
"So next up is a room that we all like despite our varied interests." Antonio says as he reaches for a metal handle to a big solid wood set of doors. He opens the doors and turns on the lights and I see what I can only describe as a giant comfy home theater. There are a bunch of couches, comfy armchairs and big ottoman type things spread throughout the room. There are a bunch of pillows scattered all over the room on both the furniture and some propped on the floor against the wall waiting for someone to take them and use them as well as blankets thrown on the backs of the furniture. Everything is pointed in the direction of a giant screen that is attached to the wall.
Benjamin takes the lead now seemingly to think Lily is safe in the room filled with comforts. "This is our home theater in case you couldn't tell." He continues to step back with his arms stretched out to his sides and does a trust fall onto a huge couch that looks overly cushiony.
Antonio turns around and begins to guide us through other rooms on this floor all being cool in one way or another. We reach a set of brown doors that are slider doors like a barn door moves to the side and we are led through into a small hallway that leads to two more doors on the left side of the wall with one on the right and one at the end.
Antonio slides open the first door to the left and it leads to an indoor basketball court. Then he proceeds to the door next to it. As he slides it open he begins to speak, "this is mostly Marco's domain but we all enjoy exercise." He led us through the doorway and I see a massive home gym. In the middle of the room is a boxing/fighting ring and surrounding it is a bunch of exercise equipment of every side ranging from treadmills, weights, rowers, bikes and punching bags to more.
My eyes gravitate towards the boxing ring. When we were with Ronald I learnt how to fight. Granted I could never beat him because of the malnourishment, wounds etc, but I did learn to like it a bit and I do think that I was a little bit good at it. Enough to hold my own.
Benjamin catches my glance and smirks. "You like to fight?"
"Kinda. I learnt a bit back with Ronald to get him to back off. Put him in his place sometimes. Don't think I'm too good though." I say shrugging and going to turn around to leave the room.
"Well fratello when you're healed up we'll have to see how good you are and train you up some." He took the hint and began leading us to the next door at the end of the hallway. As the next door opens we are greeted by the scent of chlorine and I realize that this must be an indoor pool.
We walk in and I see a fairly large indoor swimming pool with ocean looking tiles. There was a general theme of brown on for tiles outside the pools and walls but it was more of a comforting caramel that gave the room an elegant but cozy vibe.
