I woke up, what felt like days later, feeling all better. I looked around and I'm still in Devin's chest. He's back in human form, he has his arms wrapped tightly around me and I'm pulled flush, against his toned chest.

Werewolf muscles are nice, they feel strong and safe. I could get used to this, to him, to waking up like this, to them. Does Ari feel like this every morning with her mate?

Will I have a mate? I started playing with Devin's hair to pass the time and he soon woke up. He looked at me groggy and sleepy.

"Morning Aunt Angie, what's wrong?" Devin asked me confused and still sleepy.

"Morning Devin, did I wake you up? Sorry." I asked nice and apologized.

"No, it's okay. Did you sleep well?" Devin asked me kind.

"Yup, thank you for the good rest." I said blushing and hid my face in his chest.

"That's good, but why are you hiding Aunt Angie?" Devin asked me confused, as he gently cupped my chin and made me look up at him.

"Does big sis feel this safe with your dad as well?" I asked still as red as a tomato.

"Yeah, I guess everyone says that girls feel the safest in their mate's arms and guys feel the happiest when they are holding their mates." Devin explained to me kind.

"What are mates?" I asked him confused.

"Don't you know what they are?" Devin asked me confused.

"No, angels don't have mates, I have never heard about that. They have girlfriends, wives and toys, but that's it." I told him confused.

"Oh, boy, I guess mom's lucky that way. Mates, as in soul mates, you're other half. " Devin explained kind.

"Oh, okay." I said nodding at him.

"Aren't you curious?" Devin asked me kind.

"Nope, I ain't even stable yet, besides it's pointless to know about something that I can never have. It's easier to not know anything at all." I said smiling at him content.

"Okay, but you can ask anyone of us, if you want to know, anything at all and we'll tell you." Devin told me kind.

"Okay." I said and snuggled back into his warm chest.

"Um...do you like me, now?" Devin asked unsure.

"You are strong...and warm....and safe...." I said not moving from my new nest.

"Okay? Is that good?" Devin asked me confused.

"It's great!!!" I said really happy.

"Okay, from now on, you tell one of us, when you need something and want to go somewhere." Devin told me serious.

"Okay..." I said at peace.

We stayed in bed for some time, I just love this. Alpha Tomas came by, to see what's going on, once the sun started setting.

"Hey, you two! Aren't you hungry?" Alpha Tomas asked us curious.

"Not really..." I said, not feeling much right now.

"I was, but somehow it went away..." Devin said confused and at peace.

"Okay?! Well, what have you 2 been doing all day?" Alpha Tomas asked curious.

"Nothing, actually, just staying in bed." Devin said calm.

"Did you...?" Alpha Tomas asked his son angry.
