You would think crimes wouldn't be committed during the day, and yet, here they were, on the scene of yet another crime, murder to be exact, the third one that month.

Yoongi sighed as he examined the crime scene, there was blood everywhere. The crew was working hard to mark all the splatters of blood on the ground, others taking pictures to document the crime scene.

"This is the third murder in a month. I think it's clear we have a serial killer on our hands." Namjoon said as he examined the victims face, which had what appeared to be multiple knife cuts on it, marring the face almost beyond recognition. Just like the other two murders they had seen.

Yoongi stared at the body harder, as if staring at it would make the dead victim talk. "Who killed you? And why?"

It was a woman, probably in her early thirties who had been killed. The last two victims had also been women; one a college girl, and one an almost 40-year-old business woman. Age obviously was not a factor in who the murderer was targeting, it seemed so far that the only thing connecting the women where the fact that they were women. All of their faces had been slashed, and it seemed stabbed right through the heart. Yoongi only hoped the victims at least weren't alive when they cutting had happened, he could only imagine the pain and fear that must have engulfed them.

"Min Yoongi, go and talk to the neighbor over there. See if he saw anything." Namjoon said prying Yoongi out of his despairing thoughts.

The neighbor was an older man with greying hair. He was staring at the scene like he couldn't quite believe his eyes. Yoongi cleared his throat. The man was jolted out of his trance to look into the face of a disgruntled Min Yoongi.

"Hi, I'm detective Min Yoongi from the Mapo police department. Did you know the woman who was killed?"

The man nodded, "I did, she was always very kind, though I never heard her say much. I remember who she is because she was so pretty. Her face was not a face you can forget!"

"Hmm, interesting," the other people they had interviewed for the previous murders had also mentioned how the victims had been pretty. Apparently, their beauty was one of the most memorable things about them. Maybe there was another thing linking the women together. Could these be murders progressing from rape?

"Did you hear anything strange, sir? See anything out of the ordinary?" Yoongi asked, hoping maybe the man had more to share other than the victim's beauty.

The man shook his head slowly, and then faster when he seemed to register Yoongi's words.

"I can't believe—this sort of thing doesn't happen around here. It shouldn't happen anywhere but—" The man looked up again into Yoongi's expectant eyes, "I went to bed early last night, around 8pm. I didn't hear anything out of the ordinary."

"Around what time did you get back last night?" Yoongi asked.

"I got off work around... 6pm? My job isn't far from here, so maybe around 6:20pm I arrived home."

Yoongi would have to wait for the results to come back to know exactly when the woman had died, but for now that was all he could ask of the man.

"Thank you for your time, sir. If you remember anything else that could be of help to us," Yoongi gave him a business card. The man nodded as Yoongi walked away.

"This is bad Yoongi, the third murder in a month." Namjoon said as Yoongi came back to join him.

Yoongi scoffed, "I think "bad" is an understatement. All the murders have appeared to happen at night or early morning, and no one we have interviewed had heard or seen anything out of the ordinary. There were no fingerprints on any of the last victims, no murder weapon lying around, we have nothing Joon." Yoongi said frustrated.
