Chapter 15

Nexus was the first to get up groaning rubbing the back of his head. He looks seeing that the United Empire was obliterated in one path from the Palace out to the outer wall leaving massive casualties from both sides that left mass of debris to the side.

'So that's the power of a Divine Servant, huh?' Nexus thought in wonder from its sheer power to destroy the capital.

"Is everyone okay?" Nexus calls around seeing everyone slowly getting up wiping the dirt off of them.

"Yes, no injuries here, Senpai." Mash reports.

"Phew, I thought almost died back there." Nero gets up wiping the dirt off from her dress and her other parts.

"Couple of minor injuries but no problems." Boudica reported.

"We've managed to survive that Noble Phantasm. That was a close one." Jeanne recovers next.

"No problem, Master. Are you hurt?" Medusa asks Nexus.

"Nope, I'm good to go." he reassures Rider not to worry about him.

"It seems we've all managed to survive." Saber Alter confirms, "As for Caster here..." Nexus looks at Caster as he was getting back up groggily completely covered in dirt.

"Somehow...I've managed to survive..." Caster Cu mutters trying to steady himself with his stick, "Also, why does everyone look fine where I'm the only one who got hurt!?"

"That's obvious, Caster. You're just fragile than any of us here even from the emperor. I thought you've learned your lesson from our first encounter." Saber Alter coldly disses at Caster for his lack of strength.

"Guess that's the Tyrant King for you..." he mutters too tired to retort as everyone confirms that they're all here.

"With the release of an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm so close, I'm amazed that all of you were not dead." Roman said witnessing to survive such power, "Thank you, Boudica. That was great timing."

"To be honest that was too close." Boudica said, "So what are we going to do now? Lu Bu and Spartacus were around the palace and ended up getting hit by that light. So they're out of the picture." (A/N: No wonder Septem was the least favorite...)

"Altera was her name, right?" Nero confirms.

"She's already started her advance from the United Empire's capital. Judging from the direction, she's headed for Rome." Roman tracked the coordinates of Altera's location moving across the map. Once she's done, Rome will disappear even if her Royal Majesty was alive. Or maybe she'll come to kill you once she destroys the capital."

"Either option is rejected. I will not allow Rome nor myself to fall." Nero declared.

"Then we have to defeat Altera. But can we even stand up to her?" Mash asked worryingly witnessing such an enormous attack.

"Well if worse comes to worse. I'll handle her." Nexus offer willing to fight Altera on his own if he has to.

"Are you sure? She's a Divine Spirit on a different level. I don't doubt that you're strong. It's just that-"

"Mash." she looked up to the black-haired mage with a calm showing no signs of fear or doubt.

"There's no need to make that face. Whatever happens whether we're at the losing side or not. I'll manage through it. Besides, it's not the first that we've experienced this kind of dilemma. And there are others here to help." Nexus referring to his Servants with nod of agreement.

"Whether we'd be facing a gods, beasts, giants, whatever it throws at us doesn't mean that we'll let them crush us. No matter how beaten you are, no matter how broken you are. As long as you got your two legs. You can have the courage to push through whatever throws at you. Sure, Altera is strong but that won't let that stop me. We're here to save the world. So I'm gonna see through it till the end." Nexus said unwavering to face adversaries no matter how powerful they are. "Isn't that right, Emperor?"
