Isabelle POV:

I tossed and turned all night. I kept thinking about him, the way he looked at me, and the main problem he is a rouge. Why me?! My mate, the love of my life, is dangerous and can't be trusted. How am I going to tell my dad? He would die if my dad knew, no matter what I do or say every rouge over the age of eighteen die if my dad gets his paws on them. I only ever have a shot of saving the younger ones.

There was a knock on my door and it snapped me out of my senseless mind rambling.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"Er... Chris." Who?

"Ummm... Wrong door." I called out.

"I'm your new body guard." He sighed.

"Ohh your the new member." I say double checking.

"Yes. Can I come in?"

"Sure."

He slipped inside and looked at me. We just stared at each other. He has pretty eyes they are a dark green like my rouge mate. He shrank back a little bit feeling uncomfortable, then I noticed I was staring. I turned my gaze to my hands.

"Your dad is taking care of pack business he said he would be back for dinner." Chris informed me.

I nodded my head.

"He also said there has been a rouge sighting and to keep you here where it's safe." He said giving me my fathers message.

I sighed. Of course being locked inside like a caged pup. Well screw him. Just to piss him off I'm taking a walk.

"Let's go." I said as I was walking out of the room "we are going on a walk." I beamed at the idea of defying my father.

"But he said to keep you here at all cost." Chris fathers while walking behind me.

When we got to the door Chris stood in my way. "Move." I growled annoyed.

"No." He sternly said.

I used my commanding alpha tone "Move!" Again he stayed put. I rolled my eyes and did my best to shove him out of the way but he didn't budge. He chuckled at my lack of strength compared to him. I growled. He suddenly lost focus and I could tell he was mind speaking to someone. He grinned at me,

"Now we may go."

What is his problem? He stepped aside and even held the door open. I just decided to be the bigger wolf and drop it.

"What was that about?" I curiously asked him.

Okay so maybe im not the bigger wolf. He shrugged and chuckled a little. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow, he was delusional. I just walked faster and then ran and shifted without warning, I looked back and he just looked at me still prosesing what I just did, I took off. He shifted and ran after me, time to play cat and mouse, to bad I'm not a mouse or a cat. I grinned to myself and just kept running. I ran three the woods being stealthy an avoiding the perimeter guards since I practically memorized their search patterns. I stopped near an old stream and jumped in. My light gray coat got tinted brown from the water when I swam across. I sat on the river bank on the other side waiting for Chris to catch up, but I hid behind a bush incase a guard got confused with search patterns. Chris came a few minutes later smelling around him for my scent. He won't find it because the lake water washed away a lot of my scent, for now. When he headed away from the stream I creeped up a small hill and walked to the boarder of our territory. I was never aloud here. I Curled up on the leaves and took a nap waiting to see how long it took for someone to find me.

When i woke up it was starting to get dark. I swam back across the stream with my fur coat getting one shade of a darker brown. I ran back threw the territory. My dad must be freaking out. A big wolf takled me to the ground. I rolled out from under it and kept running with it chasing me. Then he must of called for help because another wolf jumped on me and grabbed my scruff. He thrashed his head wildly and threw me to the ground. The wolf from before caught up and the beta, Josh, also came.
