Hidden in the shadows for so long, Akari had somehow ended up at Clarines again. An injury left her temporarily disabled at the castle. She reunites with a couple old friends, and gets a job offer from the second prince, himself. Her past...
I clutched my stomach in pain, running through the forest. I could feel my blood run throughout my body, veins beating heavily.
"Hey hurry up, we're gonna lose her!"
Crap. They caught up. Ugh, what a pain.
*Flashback*
A hooded figure was walking through the bustling town, peering at a few food stands that came in sight. Suddenly, she heard a pitched scream. As she turned her attention over, she saw two men trying to kidnap a quiet beautiful young lady, with an abnormal, eye catching hair color. The hooded female acted fast, rushing over to pounce the left male in the stomach, then spinning to kick the other male in the shin. The red headed victim gasped, lightly.
"T-thank you so much! How can I pay you back?!" The red head bowed a full 90 degrees gratefully, if not more.
Shocked from the sudden movement, the hooded female placed her cold, slim fingers on the petite red head, lifting her face to stare into the hooded lass' bright blue eyes. They were definitely mesmerizing, to say the least.
"Tch, you would've racked some good money. Pay me back by leaving me alone, and don't cause trouble." The hooded female smirked.
Shirayuki widen her eyes in surprise. Whoever the hooded lass was, she had a spine-chilling, yet soothing voice. All she could do was stare into the hooded female's eyes.
'So pretty' Shirayuki thought
Taking her by surprise again, the hooded figure dropped Shirayuki's chin, and walked away.
"HEY GET BACK HERE!" she didn't even realize the men from before had awoken from their unconscious state. They left the red head, and ran for the hooded female instead.
'I didn't even get a name..' Shirayuki sighed to herself.
"Miss, did something happen while I was gone?" A young male, then walked up to the red head with snacks trapped in his arms.
"Ahh Obi! You won't believe what happened."

This was short, but hope you enjoyed the first chapter! This is my first book, sofeelfree to leave mistakes, or suggestions! The art/ images I post aren't mine btw! I found them on Pinterest, and some are from the anime/manga. Another reminder that Snow White with the Red Hair does NOT belong to me. The creator is Sorata Akidzuki! However, I have changed the plot.
Throughout the book, there may be triggering lines, but I will put a warning ahead of time!
