This book takes place in a period of time, (2127-2131), and alot of things happen, and I refuse to give details, you wont get to the main plot until maybe chapter 6 or seven, but maybe earlier, depending if Im feeling nice or not. :P

Only alittle bit of food, some water, and about 1,000 people. I was one of those people.
My name is Taylor, Taylor Rants. Im 20 years old, 16 when it started. I had a life before they came, a family, 2 sisters and a brother and two wonderful parents, and a wonderful boyfriend. Unfortionatly, they didn't make it out. They were upducted by those, things. I barely made it out with my life.
I fought, but my family couldn't, they were too weak. Everything is distroyed. Almost nothing made it out.
How did we go from 13 billion people to 1,000? How could they get off so off guard that we ended up like this?
Questions similar to those are what swarm my head every day. I know the world needs a leader. Someone to save them. Someone to understand the problem, and make it go away.
I will be that person.
