Third Person POV

It was another day for the two girls, waking up and texting till its nighttime. Quarantine had not done that much damage to whatever they had going on before the world went to hell. Two best friends, lots of the girls in the younger grades shipped them, they had no idea though. They'd sit on each other's laps, give cheek kisses, hold hands, and joke about what would happen if they were dating. They were always still in calls at 2 am. One of them kind of wished it was all true though, that it wouldn't only be a joke. She wanted her for herself but was too scared she'd be judged. She had tried telling her how much she loved her billions of times, but the other only saw it as their usual messing around.

Her phone suddenly vibrated, 'Hey bby' -Crazy giraffe woman.

Brandy checked her phone and blushed at the text. 'Wtf... morning to you too'

'How are you, did you sleep ok?' - Crazy giraffe woman. Her face grew redder with every text, she should be used to all the flirting by now, but she couldn't help it.

The redhead typed quickly, 'I barely slept because of you asshole'.

'Oh were you thinking about me? (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵)' -Crazy giraffe woman.

'Bish we had a really late call last night'

'Alright, I'll make it up to you I promise, uhh they reopened the theater, you know?' -Crazy giraffe woman. 'Or I could pin you to my bed and-'

'JESSICA- no whyyyyy' Idiot always messing with me and making me feel weird.

'Geez- jkjkjkjk' -Crazy giraffe woman. 'So movie?'

It's almost like a date, Brandy thought with a smile on her face. 'Sure- what movie though?'

' Luca-?' -Crazy giraffe woman.

'ok' She suddenly realized how she was smiling like an idiot the whole time and started giggling.

'yessss' -Crazy giraffe woman.

Jessica texted her the time and location. 'Can't wait to see you bby' -Crazy giraffe woman.

'OMG-'

'lol sorry' -Crazy giraffe woman.

The rest of the day was the usual, calling, talking nonstop, playing video games all that good stuff.

The day they would meet after months of just texting and calling was finally here, Brandy had put an alarm for four in the morning even though they wouldn't be meeting until 9:00 am. She wanted to look the best for her crush, if only she knew it was for her and not some dumb boys. Jessica would always tease her about being over dressed for everything, it was a joke obviously though. She took a forty-minute long shower and dried her hair. She got into her favorite outfit and continued getting ready. Once she was done, she flopped onto the bed and pulled her phone out.

     'Hey seggsy ;)' -Crazy giraffe woman.

      "..."

     Brandy just laid there and stared at the ceiling. She wanted to cry, but wouldn't allow herself to, her eyeliner had taken to long to do. At this point it felt like the world was just mocking her. Everything she ever felt, every dream, everything she ever wanted was nothing but a joke to Jessica.
