THIRD PERSON
Era 976IT WAS A FINE morning, seeking for another eventful to happen. The light from the sun splattering all across the world made the day even worth carrying on. The window welcomed the wind inside her chamber as the curtains inclined in its side clapped against the walls.
A woman, nearing her 40s, remained on her swivel chair, in front of a table with piled-up papers to work on. The music from her playing phonograph drowned the room in melody. It made her relaxed. She rested her chin on her leaning forearm on the table, eyes closed in quietude.
Nasundan iyon ng ilang katok sa pinto. Napadilat siya at hinintay ang pagpasok nito. It's here, the person she's been waiting for. "You may come in,"
She stopped the music from the phonograph.
"My lady, I brought the child of Vanessa here."
"Child of Vanessa? The retired knight from the Epoufette Kingdom, and..." The Head of Arozel discontinued her sentence upon seeing his reaction, she exhaled. "Lift your head. You must stand for your status," she commanded.
As she requested, agad na sinunod iyon ng bata.
Those dead eyes.
Ah, how young and cold.
"A deeply wounded soul cannot be remedied in time. You must go on, carrying that title," she reminded. "You refused the offer of S-Class."
"Therefore, you have to take this special mission," she added.
Finally, he spoke, "Mission?"
"It's not the usual mission you have taken before. If you remember the solemn duty of your mother, you must have the gist now," she smiled, ready to make him accede to this contract. "You have to dedicate yourself in it as a holder of that surname,"
As if it fell on the deaf ears, his eyes dulled upon hearing the very first line.
She lifted a painted image from her desk. An image of a young girl. "You need to go to the Glaiden town,"
"Find this young girl. She has a bright, blonde hair. A distinct feature similar to an Aslerian. Eyes with a color of hazel. She's the one you need to protect from now on."
