"RILEY!"
Riley threw her head back with a loud laugh. Dean suddenly appeared dressed in only a towel around his hips.
"Problem?" Riley smirked.
"You did it on purpose didn't you?" Dean glared at her.
Riley tried to keep an innocent face, but she just ended up bursting into fits of laughter again. She couldn't take Dean seriously right now.
"I don't know what you mean." Riley said innocently.
Sam walked through the motel door with three coffees and furrowed his brows together.
"What's going on?" Sam asked, placing the coffees on the table.
"She used all the hot water!" Dean exclaimed.
"Did not!" Riley argued.
Dean glared at her again, folding his arms over his chest.
"Makes a change from you using all the hot water." Sam raised a brow at Dean.
Riley burst out laughing again. Dean gave Sam the middle finger before storming into the bathroom again. After five minutes, he returned to the room fully dressed.
"So, I think I found another case for us." Sam said, holding out a newspaper.
Dean took the newspaper and straightened it out. His eyes scanned the front page and he rolled his eyes.
"This isn't our kind of gig, Sammy." Dean shook his head.
Riley stood up from the bed and stood beside Dean. She looked over his arm at the paper and furrowed her brows together.
"I hate to say it, but I agree with Dean, this doesn't look like something monster hunters usually deal with." Riley said.
Dean looked down at her with wide eyes. "Okay, one, are you feeling okay? And two, we're not called monster hunters, it's just hunters."
"Whatever." Riley rolled her eyes.
Sam snatched the newspaper from Dean's hands and opened it up. "Look, Riley you of all people should realise this isn't normal."
"Should I?" Riley said, raising a brow.
"The vic fell into a sinkhole and when they found him, they said he had died of a form of mad cow disease." Sam said.
"So what's abnormal about that?" Riley said.
"They symptoms don't add up. They appeared suddenly." Sam said.
"So?" Dean said, raising a brow.
"If he had mad cow disease the symptoms would have been there for months, even years." Riley said.
"Do you have it or something?" Dean said, taking a step away from her.
"No, I was doing a medical course in college." Riley rolled her eyes. "I was training to be a nurse."
"Still think it's not our gig?" Sam raised a brow at her.
"Yes!" Dean exclaimed. "I do still think that."
"I think we should check it out." Riley said. Dean groaned.
The three of them packed up and drove to Oklahoma, where the death had occurred. When they arrived, the headed to the gas company where their victim, Dustin, had worked. Getting onto the site was easy and they found Travis, the man who was working with Dustin when he died. Sam and Dean easily lied to Travis and told him they were Dustin's nephews.
