Clarke POV:
I had fallen asleep about an hour into our eight hour flight. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why I was so tired. I had woken up at twelve and now I was sleeping again. I didn't think anything of it because it was probably just one of those days. Even with all of my excitement for this whole experience and to be arriving in Albany, I was still human after all and this human is feeling very sleep deprived.Octavia POV:
I was watching the credits of a movie called "The One and Only Ivan" with my earbuds in when all of a sudden Ravens head shot up from the book she was reading and tapped me on the shoulder. " Hey, the pilot just announced that we are going to be landing in about ten minutes, would you mind waking Clarke up?" Raven asked signaling to the peacefully sleeping blonde behind me, her head resting gently against the open airplane window. "Yeah sure no problem, but when we land if she is grumpy you're the one taking her to buy coffee." I say, knowing how Clarke can be when she is tired and grumpy. Raven nods her head hoping Clarke will be in a good mood. "Clarke?" No answer. "Clarke?" I try again slightly shaking her shoulder. This goes on for about two minutes of me trying to wake her up without being to loud on the soon to be landing plane. Clarke finally stirs awake.Clarke Griffin POV:
I wake up as Octavia has her hand on my shoulder and is calling my name. "What happened O, why did you do wake me up?" I say confused because it seemed like I had only fell asleep ten minutes ago. "Clarke we are landing soon." She says my head snapping up to her as I hear those words. "Wait what we're landing soon? O I literally just fell asleep." I say trying to make sense of the joke Octavia is trying to play on me, the excitement obviously evident in my voice though. "Clarke you were sleeping for seven and a half hours the plane is about to land in like three minutes." Octavia says while giggling from my surprised face. A big smile creeps up on my face and the sudden need for sleep and the feeling of sleep deprivation suddenly disappear as I realize I'm going to be in a completely different country.Me, O, and Raven were at the middle of the plane so once we got off we just went straight to baggage claim to retrieve our bags. Once we all had our bags we headed outside the airport and called an Uber. We all got in the Uber he set the destination and we drove away. Our Uber dropped off Raven first, her and O exchanging goodbye hugs as me and O headed towards our home away from home for the next four years. Once we arrived at Campus, my jaw instantly dropped. I had only stopped gawking at our school when I looked at Octavia who's eyes looked like they were going to pop out of there sockets in a second. I giggled and teased her about it. She instantly snapped out of it and we made our way towards what seemed to be the main building. We walked straight up to the main desk and we were greeted with a warm smile as the secretary asked us how she could help us. "Well my name is Clarke Griffin and this is Octavia Blake, we were wondering if you could check us in and tell us where we could find our room?"
"The last names were Blake and Griffin correct?"
"Yes that's correct"Okay, Mrs. Blake and Mrs. Griffin you young lady's are in building four, room number six hundred and twelve feel free to take the elevator all the way up and your room should be all the way back towards the left. Here are your keys."
Me and O followed the directions she gave us and we were met with a huge penthouse type design it was much bigger that I thought it was, even seeing pictures online couldn't compare to seeing the whole thing. Me and O spent the afternoon unpacking deciding that we would stay here and get used to the room and go out to the city first thing tomorrow.
