Imani's POV:
"I can't believe your behavior in there! You were flirting with the waiter, and then you got his number afterwards!" Jaden yelled me as he stormed into the grassy field. "Me? Me! Jaden, you were practically being all Lovey-Dovey with Kylie right in front of me! If I couldn't tell, it looked like she was the girlfriend, not me!" I screamed, chasing after him. It was around 4:30, and we had just finished our lunch. Kylie had to go back to her hotel, but Jaden said she could stay at their house, which completely enraged me to a maximum high. We were in Wall Park at the moment. "And I still can't believe you brought that hoe with you to Cheltenham!" I continued. Jaden stopped in his tracks and walked up to me. "Don't you dare call her a hoe. She's my friend and if you can't respect her, lose my number," he said getting in my face. My mouth dropped so far down, I'm surprised no flies found their way in there. "What the hell did you just say? So you're picking her over me right about now? Huh?" I said, unable to find words. "I'm not picking anyone. You just need to learn some respect," he said. "And you need to learn to keep your dick in your pants. You didn't think I knew what you were about to say?" I asked, raising my voice. I was reffering to his "experience" in New York. He looked down. "What happened next? Did you fuck her? Just like you were about to fuck Alana?" I yelled. He rose his head, and his face showed complete anger. "That was four months ago! You need to stop sounding so damn bitter! I would never cheat on you again!" Jaden yelled back at me. "You know what's wrong with you? You don't know how to appreciate something when it's right in front of you. I've never seen you be grateful in our whole relationship. I'm trying to make this work, After Earth, the summer, the next school year, but you seem to be wanting more. I'm only human," he said softly. "... Well then maybe I don't deserve you," I shrugged, holding back tears. I couldn't win the battle, because I felt a warm liquid form in the corner of my right eye, and fall onto my shirt. Jaden put his hand on my cheek, "What are you talking about? You do deserve me. Without you, I don't know where I'd be. I wouldn't know what natural beauty is. I wouldn't know what a kind heart is. I wouldn't know what love is," he said sincerely. I smiled and embraced him. "I'm so sorry. I should have never tried to get even with you and try to make you jealous. I guess I was the one who was jealous," I said. "I'm sorry, too. Next time, I'll try not to flirt with girls right in front of you. Matter of fact, I won't bring a girl on our date," Jaden said, hugging me back. "Unless it's your mom or sister. Or family," I said. "Or family," he agreed. I sighed, "Gosh, it feels so good to be in your arms again." "Mhm, yeah I missed your body," he said, gripping his left hand onto my ass. I let out a small moan and bit my lip. I could feel him smirking the way his cheek shifted slightly. He gave me a make-up kiss and I couldn't help but go weak. I hadn't felt his lips on mine since the day he left for Costa Rico. I put my hand on the back of his neck as he put his right hand on my waist and started caressing it. I moaned in our kiss, and he took that as a great opportunity to slide his tongue in my mouth. The kiss was getting really steamy before he pulled away from me. 'Awwwww. It was just getting good,' I thought. "So, I have good news," he said brightly as he led me into the actual playground. "What is it?" I asked smiling. "Well, I'm going back home in L.A. for my birthday," he started. My smile faded, "When are you leaving?" I asked. "Next week," he said, still smiling. "How is this great news?" I asked, pouting. "You didn't let me finish. Patience is a virtue, young Jedi," he said. "Well then continue, Master Smith," I said, laughing. He chuckled, "I was wondering... Would you like to go with me?" he asked. Me? Go to L.A. with Jaden? I nearly jumped for joy. "Of course I would love to go! Thank you so much Jaden!" I said, nearly tackling him to the ground. "Babe it's no problem," he said, with a smirk on his face saying 'Yeah, I'm the man.' "But what about my mom?" I asked concerned. "Already got that under control. It took a lot if begging and sweet talking, but she finally gave in," he said. "Jaden! You're amazing. I'm so sorry! I treat you like shit and now you're doing this for me," I said. "Imani, you're fine. You don't need to apologize like that. I get it. I know how you feel," he said. I sighed, "Okay. Just know that I love you, okay?" "I love you, too, baby," he said, pecking my lips. I checked the time on my phone, and it was ten minutes passed 5. "I have to go, like now!" I said, my eyes enlarged. He walked me to the office. As we stopped in front of the entrance, Jaden asked, "Do you trust me?" "Of course. I just don't trust... Her," I said. "Don't worry. I doubt she'll try anything. She's a sweetheart. If she does, I'll tell that I already have a funny, sweet, and beautiful girlfriend, waiting for me at home," he said smiling. "Thank you," I smiled back. "Text me when you get home, okay?" he said. I nodded before giving him a him a kiss goodbye and headed into the office. I already knew I was gonna be in loads of trouble for being late.
