"H-How did you..."

"Vincent Palma told me everything."

Hindi ko magawang isara ang bibig ko sa sobrang gulat. Vincent told him? But that's not possible! The Vincent I know wouldn't dare to do that. He knows that I don't want Dark to know about me, lalo na ang existence ni Neo. I told him about it even before Neo was born. Kaya nga kami nagpakasal! Para pagtakpan ang pagiging dalagang-ina ko!

Ilang beses nagpabalik balik sa Pilipinas si Vincent at bawat punta niya doon, palagi ko siyang pinapaalalahanan na umiwas kay Dark. Pero dahil nasa parehas silang nasa industriya ni Dark, maraming beses niya na itong nakasama sa mga business related events. He's a director at a pharmaceutical company while Dark has a Construction company and is an investor of few huge hospitals in Asia. Kaya imposibleng hindi magtama ang landas nila. But I always remind him to avoid Dark as much as he can. He promised to do that, and I trusted him because he never breaks a promise before.

Vincent will never break his promise to me. I know he wouldn't. Kaya paano?!

"That's impossible..." Umiling ako, hindi makapaniwala sa narinig.

Bigla niya akong binuhat sa bewang at pinaupo paharap sa hita niya. He caught me off guard. Huli na nang naitulak ko siya. He already locked me in his arms without any plans of letting me go.

"Dark, let go–"

"It was hard to make him speak." Napahinto at napalunok ako nang sumilay ang mapanganib na ngiti sa labi niya. "But when his partner got involved, he gave in eventually."

Namilog ang mata ko. "What? What did you do to Easton?!"

No wonder Vincent gave in! Kapag si Easton ang usapan, nagiging blanko ang isip no'n! He loves him more than he treasures me, of course he will give in!

Mukhang nagdadalawang isip pa si Dark na sumagot, kaya pinandilatan ko siya. What dis he do to contemplate like this? The man I knew was not a cruel person. Pero sa pagdadalawang isip niya ngayon, hindi ko maiwasang kabahan!

I grit my teeth. "I asked what did you do, Dark Rockwell?"

"I locked him up." He sigh and spoke nonchalantly, making me gape my mouth. "I thought your husband was cheating on you with him so I thought I should grab the chance to get rid of them both. I contacted your ex-husband to lure him out as well. Just when I was about to dispose them, he told me everything."

Hindi ko na binilang kung ilang beses akong nagulat ngayong gabi lang. But I think this one is the worst. I mean, how can he say that he was going to dispose someone so calmly!?

"Y-You're kidding, right?" Napailing ako. "There's no way you can do that. That's just a threat, right? There's no way you can dispose someone." Unti unti kong dinistansya ang katawan sa kanya.

The longer he stayed silent, the faster my heart beat gets. Hindi ko siya nakilalang mapanakit na tao kaya hindi ko ma-imagine na magagawa niyang makapanakit, lalo na sa taong malapit sa akin.

"Dark, tell me. You didn't hurt them, did you? It was just a threat, right?"

Tumitig siya sa akin na tila binabasa niya ang nasa isip ko. I couldn't hide the terrified expression on my face anymore so I know he sees it. I just can't imagine him, disposing people like they're garbages. Hindi siya ganong klaseng tao!

"Yeah, I was just kidding." He replied after a few seconds of silence.

Doon ko lang napakawalan ang pinipigilan kong hininga. Relief washed over me. I was really scared that he was telling me the truth. Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko kung seryoso siya sa sinabi.
