A few weeks have passed by since the attack and rusty is still haunted from seeing the berserkers for the first time he still has nightmares from it and would wake up Rena a few times, but this time was worse. Nightmare scene (Berserker ships are destroying everything in its path from military to the colony vessels and then sees his friend Rena. He then sees a berserker ship flying over but like nothing he's ever seen. Black all the way around with red markings and a Red Skull on the front. He then starts to run to her but before he gets to her an explosion happens right in front of him). He then wakes up sweaty and yelling. It then startles Rena and makes her upset she gets and asks what the hell is going with she then stops and sees something is wrong with him. Rena- Rusty what's the matter? Rusty- I keep seeing the same dream over and over again the fleet getting destroyed and every time different time someone I care about gets killed. While telling Rena rusty is still shaking from his nightmare and she then comes over to give him a hug. Rena- Its ok it's just a dream. Rusty- I Know it is but it felt so real and that wasn't the scary part.
Rena- what you mean? Rusty grabs a notebook to draw it out. Rusty- I saw a berserker ship unlike anything I ever saw it doesn't even show in the ships data base but there are mentions of it from a few books. It was black all the way around with red markings and red skull unlike anything I've ever seen. Rena- Strange I've seen something like that before. She then grabs her journal to show him a drawing of the ship. Rena- My mom drew this when the berserkers first attacked this fleet and had written the berserkers had found the fleet attacking with our mercy then a large black fighter with red markings and skull showed up, but it didn't seem interested in destroying the fleet it was more like they it trying to find something instead. Rusty- Trying to find something that doesn't make any sense they've been wiped almost every human worlds and fleets what they could possibly be looking for in this fleet. Rena- I don't know but I do know. They then hear a knock on the door. Rena- Come in. As the door opens Kida steps in and ask everything ok, I heard yelling.
Rusty- I'm fine I just had another nightmare but I'm better now. Kida- I can see that. Rena and Rusty then look at each other blushing then scoot away. Rusty- I should go probably eat something. Rena-Me to. Rusty and Rena leave their dorm to go to café to get something to eat, while walking they still look at each other still blushing at each other. Eventually after eating they both go to daily routines training in the sims then rusty would go and try to crack his parent's files but with little to no luck. Rusty- dang it not again. He then hears a knock on the door and then enters Niro.
Niro- Admiral Karen wishes to speak with both of you. Rusty with a huff says understood. Niro while leaving sees the coded files on rustys computer and forms an evil smile before leaving. Rusty and Rena then head to admiral fletcher office but upon arriving he sees Osiris squadron. Male pilot- Well if it isn't the rookie. Still trying to reach for the top street rat. Rusty- Not really mohawk freak. Before the pilot dos anything an admiral steps in. Admiral- Is everything ok. Rusty- Everything is fine. Rusty and Rena both then go into the admiral's office. Karen- I'm Admiral Karen I'm the high-ranking admiral of this entire fleet and I've seen how well you both have been doing these past few weeks and I'm impressed. Rusty and Rena- Thank you mam.
Karen- As of today I'm promoting you both and the rest of your flight from cadets to air sergeants. Rusty and Rena at the same time say- Thank you mam. As they both shake the admiral's hand rusty notices a necklace similar to his. Rena- I can't believe this come on rusty let's get the flight together and go into town to celebrate. Rusty- Shore thing. One they gather entire flight they head towards the city district to celebrate the promotion at a tavern called Titan Sun. As soon as everyone is there, they all order a round of drinks some sing, some dare, and some drink so much they pass out. The entire Flight were enjoying them self's all except rusty. He only drinks one beer and then heads for the balcony of the bar to think. Drunken pilot-
