Rusty is awoken from a dream he has not seen in some time. In the dream he is on a snowy planet walking towards what seems like a cluster of mountains in the distance but then looks up to see an ancient stargate beyond one of the other planets in the system, but the gate was different from the home sol system. As he's he keeps walking, he feels a tug. Looking down he sees a rope tied around him. As he looks, he tries to see who is with him, but he is then awoken before he can look. He gets up to look out the window to think. Rustys thought- Where are these visions coming from was someone sending him these visions or was something else trying to show him something. He then takes his journal to draw out the dream he had. Once he draws it out completely, he starts to wonder more what is so special about this solar system and why does he keep seeing this planet.
Eventually he gets dressed grabs his bag and goes for a walk even though its still dark at night. While walking he notices crystal near the pool. He walks over and asks Everything ok crystal? Crystal-Yes everything is fine. Rusty- Can I take you up on that swim? Crystal- Maybe another time I ah have to go do something. After saying that rusty stands there with a questionable look. Rusty- Hey crystal can you not swim? Crystal stops her face turns red and says what why would you ask that of course I can swim I just ah can't right now. Rusty with a smile nodes his head then approaches the pool takes off his shirt and jeans then jumps in the pool with nothing but his underwear on.
Rusty- Let me teach you. Crystal while blushing says You would teach me? Rusty- Of course you taught me a few things on flying I thought I'd return the favor. Crystal- Ok but you have to promise not to tell anybody I don't want the other pilots to laugh. Rusty- I promise I won't tell it'll be our secret. Crystal- ok. As crystal starts to head into the pool, she too takes her shirt off and jeans to rustys surprise to be in her bathing suit. Rusty- Are you shore? As crystal gets in, she replies with I'm shore. Rusty while blushing replies with ok then proceeds to teach her how to swim. Eventually Crystal starts to get the hang of it. Rusty- There you go you got this. Crystal replies with I do but then slips and goes under. Rusty quickly dives down to rescue her and brings her back up. Rusty-You ok? Crystal- I'm ok thanks for the save. Rusty says I owed you one as they are in each other arms and both blush at each other. They then swim for a few more hours then eventually get out. Rusty-Thanks for the swim I needed that. Crystal- Thanks for teaching me. Rusty- Anytime. As they start to walk rusty starts to speak up. Rusty- Crystal there's something I need to tell you.
Crystal- What is it? Before he could speak, they both hear an explosion outside the ship to see one of the military ships is hit. Speakers- Attention we are under attack all citizens are to head to emergency shelters and pilots to battle stations. Rusty and Crystal both head towards the base to get to their fighters. Eventually they make it and change into their pilot outfits. Alpha 1- Get your ass moving alpha 6. Crystal-What was it you wanted to tell me before. As rusty scrambles he replies with all tell you later if we survive this battle the rushes to fighter. His squad manages to launch but by then it is little too late.
The fleets loses 4 escort vessels ,6 civilian vessels and 25 fighters from the bombers and the attacking fleet. Rusty squad manages to take down the remaining enemy bombers but not before the rest of them retreated. Admiral Karen- All fighters return to the base repeat return to base the fleet is jumping away. Rusty- Rena do you copy? Rena- I copy rusty what's up. Rusty- Tell alpha leader all catch up with the fleet there's something I need to check up on. Before Rena could say anything rusty turns around to and heads for one of the wrecks. Eventually the fleet jumps and rusty hides out on one of the wrecked military vessels. After waiting he eventually sees what he was waiting for the black berserker. After seeing it he pulls out and the berserker see him then dos the same thing.
Eventually both fighters are facing each other. Afterwards he starts to see a glow in his necklace and a voice. Garbled voice- Get to the solar system, Find the faculty save our people and the human race. Rusty- Wait what you mean our people? All of a sudden he sees tracers go in between him and the berserker. He looks up to see Niro's fighter from Osiris squadron. Rusty- Niro what are you? All of sudden Niro turns his fighter and starts to fire at him. Rusty- What the hell are you doing Niro? With no reply Rusty dodges his shots and manages to jump back to the fleet. Back at the fleet everything is in chaos.
