(quick authors note this was written after voltron ended. Its before the whole altean ro-beast shenanigan but after they went back to earth and was saving the universe with the atlas and galaxy garrison).

Lance's Pov

It had been a few days since the attack, everyone was asleep, everyone but Lance, as he was sobbing in his room on the atlas while tightly gripping onto Keith's red jacket.

~flashback~

"FORM VOLTRON '' Keith yelled, they had been attacked by the galra, they were losing by the looks of it.

~time skip~

They had been shot by an ion cannon, and the lions dispersed slowly floating away from each other. "Ugh... guys..?" Lance had woken up, he was panicked because the lions were floating away from each other, "KEITH!!" lance screeched as he watched the black lion being drawn in.

Everyone else but Keith had woken up by now, they desperately needed help so they hailed the atlas. "Shiro! We need your assistance!It's Keith he's being drawn in by the galra!" allura yelled, by the time the atlas got there Keith had already been drawn in from his lion.

"Keith!" shiro, iverson, and (surprisingly griffin as well) had all yelled. They all heard a faint coughing as Keith woke up "g..guys help.. please". Keith was dragged out of his lion, he was surprised when they didn't take the lion, only keith. Keith barely put up a fight due to being delirious from pain. "Keith!! NO!". Lance felt as if he was powerless, he couldn't move his lion, and all he could do was watch

~End of flashback~

Keith's Pov

I woke up with a jolt, but to my surprise I was strapped down on a flat table. I was in pain, but I kept myself from yelping. "Ah.. so you're finally awake" i heard a low yet familiar voice as the words met my ears. "Haggar..." I hissed but immediately withdrew as I noticed that something seemed off, Other than the fact I was strapped to a table, but it made me extremely uncomfortable, I tried to look down, but what I saw was.. "Scales..?" yes reader you heard correctly, I had large, red scales. I was shirtless (with pants on obviously you dirty minded quiznack) so I could see that they were on my lower abdomen and up the side of my upper body and trailed up to the back of my hand. They were actually kinda beautiful...

(blah blah creepy haggar stuff insert whatever creepy thing she says) But before i could react to this whole 'pretty big red scales' thing there was a large explosion down in another sector of the galra base, the straps were now loose on the table (OOOO MaGiC) so i managed to slide off of the table, I felt slightly dizzy but I fought the feeling and grabbed my stuff and quickly put on my armor, i contacted my team and the atlas.

(by now haggar was gone shooting lighting somewhere) " Atlas? Team?" They replied " Keith!" they all yelled " I'm coming!can someone pick me up?" but before hunk could answer there was a druid. I was in no condition to fight but as i tried to run i felt my body go limp and my world go dark.

Lance's Pov to whenever keith was kidnapped :P

I felt like my heart was ripped out and torn into 20 as i saw keith get taken by the galra,
