Chapter 27

March 13th Kent House 17:45
Jon was finishing the last of his homework at his desk when his sister barged in looking a bit upset

"Lara what's wrong" Jon asked

"Jon, there's been an accident" Lara said

"What do you mean, you know how Damian and Helena were going to Wayne Enterprises with Bruce after school, well the building collapsed" Lara said

Jon stood up and dawned his hoodie, ripped jeans and converse and flew to the rubble of Wayne Enterprises, he scanned over it but found no signs of anyone under the rubble, no one at all. He then scanned around the crowd until he saw Tim and Dick and landed beside them drawing attention from the authorities and other crowd members

"Superboy what are you doing" Dick asked

"Are the walls lined with lead" Jon asked

"Some not all" Tim replied

"Then they could be under there" Jon said taking off

"Babs, I need you to look at security from the last hour before the building collapsed this didn't just happen and not today of all days. Bruce tells everyone they have the day off and then he goes in with the heirs to the Wayne fortune, this is fishy" Dick said

"Already done" Barbara replied

"And" Tim asked

"Nothing, I'll keep looking" she replied

"I don't think that they are under all that, we aren't that lucky to have lost Damian" Tim laughed

But he soon stopped when he noticed Jon staring down at him angrily however the stare was broken when a police officer called "over here I found someone". Jon rushed over and began removing the rubble

As he did it became more apparent that the body wasn't human at all, it was removed from the rubble and given to the DEO, Jon then decided to ring Damian's phone and listen for its so he did but it was answered

"What is it I'm busy" Damian said

"Wait your not in Wayne Enterprises" Jon said

"I am, I'm in Central City why what's wrong" Damian asked

"You may want to get back to Gotham" Jon said

"This better be important" Damian said

"It is" Jon said

"Let me get my father and sister, I'll be there soon" Damian said hanging up

Jon flew down to Dick and Tim who were waiting to see if the bodies were found

"They're in Central City, not here" Jon said

"Well then who's body was that they found" Tim asked

"It wasn't human, but I didn't recognise it" Jon said

"I think Red Robin and Nightwing should make an appearance" Tim said

"Yeah we will be back in a minute" Dick said

After they returned Nightwing, Red Robin and Superboy started helping the emergency services clear rubble no more Alien bodies were found but half an hour a black car with tinted windows pulled up and Bruce stepped out with the two young Waynes

"Commissioner what happened to my building?" Bruce asked

"We don't know, there is too much rubble to see any cause of collapse" Jim replied

"Can we get through" Damian asked

"By all means it is your building after all" Jim responded

Damian walked forward with his father and they started examining the rubble and they tried to distance themselves for Dick and Tim as to not arouse suspicion
