"Why would you say yes when you can barely talk at all around her, how are you supposed to help her study!?" Hermione half yelled half whispered at you "
I don't know, I wasn't thinking!?" you said in the same tone as her.
"How am I suppo-" just then there was a knock. Ginny popped her head through the door
"Are you guys coming? Rons waiting for you Y/n." She said smiling slightly.
"Ron waiting on food! I thought i'd never see the day." You replied and to that she laughed which made you get butterflies.
"Yeah we'll be there in a minute" Hermione said with a smile. Ginny nodded and before she shut the door she said
"Meet me tomorrow in the library at 3"
you could hear her footsteps walking away. Once she was far enough Hermione turned to you
"That's progress" she said.
"progress?" You replied slightly confused with what she meant.
"You told a joke without stuttering and you didn't sound nervous." She said in an obviously sorta tone.
"I did?" You asked already knowing the answer and just asking it to annoy Hermione.
Instead of answering she just face palmed. You soon left the dorm and common room, Ron was waiting outside the doorway. "What's up" You asked him. He smiled and said
"I was wondering if you want to study with me tomorrow?"
"I can't, tomorrow Ginny asked me to help her in muggle studies," you said, trying to hide the little bit of excitement in your voice.
"Muggle studies? Last time I checked she was acing that class." he said slightly confused
