Share the stage

Estonia sighed, leaning against the wall of the club, the noise and lights already beginning to give him a headache. Lithuania and Latvia had abandoned him a while ago, and the small Baltic was already wishing he never agreed to come.

Noticing the current singer was leaving the stage to his left, and Estonia drifted closer to see who would come onstage next.

A tall country walked up the steps, his flag white, with a pale blue cross, and was carrying an electric guitar.

He was wearing a fluffy blue and white karvahattu that matched the ice-blue of his eyes exactly, a winter jacket and combat boots, and Estonia felt his cheeks heat up. He'd never seen such a hot country. (Oof I'm dying, this is so awful ,_,)

The blue, black and white country watched, as he settled his guitar strap more securely on his shoulder, and began to play and sing.

I walk a lonely road

The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me, and I walk alone

The smaller wriggled through the crowd, slipping out at the front and watched his fingers on the strings.

I walk this empty street

On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one, and I walk alone

I walk alone, I walk alone
I walk alone, I walk a-

The world seemed slowed, he could no longer hear the noise of the people around him.

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Till then I walk alone

Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah, aaah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah,

Unconsciously he moved forwards, resting his fingers on the edge of the platform, gazing up at the singer.

I'm walking down the line

That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the borderline
Of the edge, and where I walk alone

Read between the lines
What's fucked up, and everything's alright
Check my vital signs
To know I'm still alive, and I walk alone

I walk alone, I walk alone
I walk alone, I walk a-

The taller looked down, their eyes meeting.

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me

My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Till then I walk alone

Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah, aaah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah
I walk alone, I walk a-

They stayed like that, staring at each other, the one onstage seeming to sing only for Estonia.

I walk this empty street

On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one, and I walk a-

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Till then I walk alon

He finished with a riff, giving the Baltic a small half-smile.

Estonia waited for him to come offstage, hanging back a little as he did so, suddenly stupidly shy.

The taller smiled at him.

"Hey."

" H-hi. "

Then,

"W-what's your name?"

" Finland, what about you? "

"E -estonia... "

"Pretty name. Do you want to go get a drink?"

Esti nodded eagerly, hopping after Finland .

"-and that, kids, is how I met your father. "

Ehhh, I'm so sorry-

As you can see from this cursed piece of satanity, I am no good at dialogue. Or writing for that matter.
