Riley, Sam and Dean brought Missouri with them to visit their old house again. Riley wondered if Jenny would even let them in the house again so she was more than a little surprised when Jenny ushered them in eagerly. Missouri walked around the house, pausing every so often and closing her eyes. Riley and the Winchesters followed Missouri, observing her movements and reactions to certain areas of the house.

"Alright Jenny honey, why don't you take your beautiful babies out for a couple of hours and we'll have your little problem sorted by the time you come back." Missouri said kindly.

Jenny was hesitant to leave these strangers in her house alone, but Missouri wasn't taking no for an answer, so Jenny gathered her children and left the house. When they had gone, Missouri turned to the three of them with a serious expression.

"I'm picking up two presences. One is a pretty nasty poltergeist." Missouri said.

"Is the other the thing that killed our Mom?" Sam asked.

"No, I can't quite tell what it is, but it's not the thing that killed your Mother." Missouri shook her head.

"Well let's deal with the poltergeist first." Dean said.

They all agreed and Missouri set Riley the task of making up little bags of various ingredients to help purify the house. She stood at the table filling the bags and Missouri said she wanted to take another look around the house.

"Sam, come with me." Missouri said. "Dean, you keep an eye on that girl."

Her tone left no room for argument and Dean swallowed hard, nodding his head. Riley bit down on her lip to stop herself from laughing. Sam and Missouri left the room and Riley turned back to the bags. Dean took a walk around the kitchen and Riley watched him out the corner of her eye.

"You still mad at me?" Dean said, opening a kitchen cupboard.

"No." Riley shook her head but didn't look at him.

"Sure doesn't seem that way." Dean said, opening another cupboard door.

"What do you want me to say, Dean?" Riley sighed, looking up at him.

Dean looked at her over his shoulder. "I said I was sorry."

"Yeah, until the next time you lose your temper and admit you don't care if I'm murdered." Riley rolled her eyes.

"I didn't mean that." Dean said in a soft voice.

"Could have fooled me." Riley mumbled.

"Alright, I'm sorry for what I said. Yes you annoy me but I don't want you to die, happy?" Dean sighed.

"Just forget it, Dean. Like I said, I'm not your responsibility anyway. We don't need to try and force any kind of friendship." Riley shook her head.

Sam and Missouri entered the kitchen and Riley closed the last bag. Missouri looked between Riley and Dean with a frown. Riley avoided her gaze and scooped up the bags.

"All done." Riley said, holding them out to her.

"We need to hide them in the walls." Missouri said.

They split up and started placing the bags around the house, only this time Riley went with Sam instead. They walked up to the attic and Sam knocked a whole in the wall. Riley pulled the bag out of her pocket and reached out to place it in the hole. However before she could, something pulled her back forcefully and she crashed into the opposite wall.

"Riley!" Sam yelled.

He raced towards her but he was stopped in his tracks by a lamp wire wrapping around his throat. Riley pushed herself to her feet with a groan. Sam continued to struggle against the cord and Riley rushed towards him.
