Hello everyone! Welcome to my first foray onto Wattpad! I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
My latest novel, Tides of Honour, will be published across Canada in April (2015) by Simon & Schuster Canada, and it's available for PRE-ORDER right now!
My passion lies in writing Historical Fiction, and I like to dig into the “untold” stories from our past. For example, in my previous three novels I wrote about white slavery, among other things. Tides of Honour follows many aspects of the early 20th century, but it also brings PTSD into the spotlight—though it was called “shell shock” or “battle fatigue” back then.
Since we have a few weeks to wait before the actual book comes out (in both paperback and e-book), I thought I'd give you a little advance sneak peek into the story. Tides of Honour has gone through quite a few transformations, with characters and scenes added and cut along the way. Each of these scenes is special to me, and it is always difficult to cut them from stories, but I had reasons for removing them.
I don't know about you, but I love watching “deleted scenes” from movies, because they often give me a greater insight into the characters and story. Here on Wattpad, I have an opportunity to share a few of my “deleted scenes” with you. Stay tuned … I'll post one here every Tuesday from Feb 24 until publishing date, April 21.
Warning: some of these scenes include SPOILERS for the book!
I hope you enjoy a sneak peek into Tides of Honour!
