If there was anything that Legend knew for certain after years of adventuring, nothing ever went the way he wanted it to go. No one was supposed to find out, no was supposed to know, least of all any of the Links for that matter. Not even Zelda and Ravio knew about it. Yet here he was, sitting in the deeper part of this stupid river, resting against a rock with his face half-submerged underwater with his brightly pink colored tail laid across dry land in broad daylight. Right where Hyrule could see when he came stumbling out of the forest, searching for him.

Upon the sight of it, unsurprisingly, Hyrule's gray eyes had widened considerably when he had spotted Legend. His jaw had dropped in his shock, which only caused Legend to groan, which made gurgling sounds with his face still being partially submerged. The noise had snapped Hyrule out of his shock, his jaw-closing as his eyes snapped upfront the tail to Legend's face. Legend waited for Hyrule to laugh at him, to ask questions about why Legend suddenly had a bright pink tail instead of legs.

That was not what Legend had gotten, instead the words that left Hyrule's mouth were: "Are you hurt anywhere?" Legend sighed at the question, tired and irritated about the situation, he should have expected that as a response from Hyrule with him being the group's designated medic after all.

"I'm fine." Legend bit out as he pulled his head out of the water, his words harsher than needed when all he could focus on was the idea of the others finding out about this and he could not deal with that. "But you can not tell anyone about this Hyrule, I swear-" Legend snapped his mouth shut when saw a flash of hurt run across Hyrule's face, it brought him to pause and his anger to twiddle as he tried to figure out what had hurt Hyrule. But the pained expression on Hyrule's face was gone in seconds, instead, it was replaced by indifference as he narrowed gray eyes onto him.

At the glare, Legend simply dunked his head about halfway back into the water like before, a deep frown on his face. For a moment, Hyrule simply stared at him before he finally opened up his mouth while pointing a finger at Legend before he paused and simply shook his head with a sigh. He took a deep breath before opening his mouth again while he dropped his hand to his side. "I'm guessing you can't breathe air while in that form?" Hyrule asked which Legend nodded his head too. Hyrule hummed at that before sitting down on the ground closest to the rock that Legend was lending against, taking his shoes and socks off before dipping his feet into the river. "Now I'm going to ask again, are you hurt anywhere? It looked like you had taken a pretty hard hit by that moblin when it knocked you into the river."

A sigh left Legend at that, causing bubbles to float up to the surface at that as he shrugged. He was too busy fuming over his situation to actually check over himself for any major injuries. He had been distracted, busy fighting against a couple of monsters when some random moblin had somehow managed to sneak up on him and knock him into this river. He remembered having gotten smacked along the left side of his back so that would probably be the worst of it. The river itself had unfortunately been one of those fast-moving currents so Legend had to deal with feeling like he was drowning while his legs and throat had painfully taken their sweet time changing into his mermaid form before he could actually get a grip and swim with the current.

The only positives he could possibly take from this situation were that he had been swept away pretty far from the others that he didn't think he needed to worry about them finding him like this and that the river hadn't been filled with a ton of sharp rocks that Legend had to be concerned of bashing or slicing himself against. Despite that, he looked over his arms, there were a couple of light bruises but nothing to cry about, then he reached out a hand to feel around his left side, only for his face to twist into one of pain when he found one particularly sore spot sending blinding pain up and down his side. He bit his lip to keep a hiss from escaping him.
