[11:23 am, CIA safe-house, south Boston]
It had been a past hard few years, months, weeks. Was Bell's whole life a lie? It sure did feel like it, finding himself thinking about his past and being mentally shattered. He had been on assignment his whole life and even that felt like somewhat of a lie. Being Perseus's pawn for years, Perseus being a unconfirmed Soviet extremist, Perseus being figuratively the name of the extremist group and the codename of the individual leading it. Bell then almost bleeding to death after being betrayed, to being fucked up and brainwashed by the CIA and MI6.
Now he could admit his CIA work and his team really made those some of the best years of his life..then back to betrayal again by his own team leader, then losing his left arm, being saved but again brainwashed by Perseus, only obeying orders and assassinations, occasionally having a rough dream about his team, very momentarily jogging his memory, making him feel human again then losing that feeling a moment later. He had been tasked to kill Russell Adler, his former CIA strike and intel team leader but also the very man who betrayed Bell once he started getting wise to the brainwashing and once his services were pretty much used and had no use to him anymore. But somewhat luckily his brainwashing protocol from Adler, using code phrase "we had a job to do" overwhelmed both sides of brainwashing, letting him break free of their hold on him (Perseus and Adler), causing him to shortly breakdown due to all his memories rushing back. Being on no ones side but his own, he set out to find what he'd missed and more info about each side, heading to the Boston safe house to find records and intel. He had remembered the layout of the building, knowing what the backup phrase was to get in. A phrase that could be used if a agent needed to urgently get in and for some reason wasn't briefed on the daily entrance protocol.
He dressed in a red long sleeve shirt, a brown leather jacket, blue jeans, and a all black baseball cap. He posed as a CIA agent, making up a reason to see some files in the basement and saying the code phrase. He was let in and escorted to the basement by two agents.
Now One cocky rookie agent tested Bell to make sure he was not a fake for what he saw as fun once they were in the basement..but Bell didn't see it as such and actually answered all the questions correctly because of his former experience in the CIA. But the Rookie didn't take that as enough and pulled his gun, stupidly waving it around in the air, still questioning Bell.. but as soon as he pulled a weapon Bell was about done with his shit "you shouldn't have done that" Bell spoke softly, the Rookie looking at him with curiosity and suspicion. With two quick movements, Bell hit the rookie in the gut with his metal arm, sending him flying back and hitting the concrete wall, then swiftly pulling a pistol with a suppressor out of the inside of his jacket and shooting the second Agent. He walked over to the Rookie who was crawling to his gun with much pain and many cracked ribs, Bell looked down at him momentarily before popping a suppressed round into his head and walking over to where the files were kept. His Memories and experience pretty much had all returned, making him able to crack/hack right into the computer down there within only a few moments. He plugged in a hard drive and started downloading records as he walked over to the physical filing cabinets being guarded by a metal chain link door, which he pretty much ripped off its hinges using his metal arm. After a good 10 minutes he had pretty much what he needed, grabbing a folder and running over to the computer, pulling out the hard drive, pocketing it and putting the folder in a small backpack, tossing it on his back. As he was getting ready to escape, a curious agent opened the door to the basement and looked at the bodies before looking at Bell and reaching for his gun. But Bell was a step ahead and quick-drawed his suppressed pistol, shooting a round through the agent's neck, causing him to drop the gun and gasp for air as he felt and grasped his throat before dropping to the ground a moment later, dead..Bell walked over and opened the window well, preparing to climb out before hearing foot steps and a small gasp behind him, making him glance behind him quickly, seeing the person had stopped, also making home stop. His eyes widened slightly so did the girl's. "Bucky?.." the Female said, Bell looking at her for a moment before opening his mouth to speak. "Park.." Bell replied softly, it being someone from Adler's team that he was on..the one that made him feel human through it all, his lover..Park looked at him with sadness, shock, happiness to see him. A tear fell down her cheek, thinking that Bell was dead and that Adler never told them that he was still alive. But before either of them could say or do anything else, three agents busted through the doorway, guns pointed. Bell gave Park one last glance before dropping a small metal ball on the floor, the ball quickly spraying Smoke, a small compact smoke bomb.
Bell quickly climbed out of the window well and outside into a alleyway. He spotted a maintenance ladder to the roof but the agents started following when he started climbing, hearing a bullet ricochet off the metal ladder, Bell in one swift move, swung around to the other side of the ladder and pulled his pistol, shooting one of them in the head before continuing to climb.
He reached the top but so did the two remaining agents, them having gone up the interior stars to rooftop access. Bell started bolting across the rooftops, the agents chasing and shooting, one shooting off his baseball cap but he continued running. After running and jumping for a little bit, he reached a ledge with no close rooftops. He stopped and raised his hands, taking the backpack off and setting it on the ground next to him. The two agents caught up and stepped closer, pulling out handcuffs. One kept his gun pointed at him while the other attempted to handcuff him, but they made the mistake of getting close. When one attempted to grab his metal arm and handcuff him, Bell just threw him off the roof before ducking a shot from the last agent, hitting him in the gut and dodging behind him, putting him in a headlock, snapping his neck. Bell put the backpack back on and was in the clear.
Bell took the info back with him and examined it.
But this left Bell with a lot of unchecked emotions and thoughts, especially about Park..
