Unspoken reason

She was beautiful.

Third Person POV

"Yo." The blue headed beauty said.

"Akari.. What are you doing here- I thought something happened to you. I thought you died. We all did! Have you been hidin-" Before Zen could finish his sentence, a grunt came out of Akari's mouth.

"Are you going to keep talking, or let me in.. I don't feel so go-"

"Akari!" Zen shouted while jumping in to catch the unconscious girl, revealing her gash wound. He nearly winced at the sight.

'How far did she travel like this?' The prince wondered. He effortlessly picked the girl up bridal style, being sure to not damage her stab wound even more.

"Shirayuki, go to the infirmary and inform Garak and Ryuu, Akari is injured. I'll be right behind you." Zen said. His voice was firm, a side Shirayki and Obi hadn't seen before.

"HURRY!"

Shirayuki POV

I won't lie, Zen seemed a little scary like this. Who was this Akari? They seem close... Are they siblings? Or... a secret lover? It doesn't matter. That was the same girl that saved me before, so I have to do what I can to help her now.

I ran to the infirmary, lifting the bottom hem of my dress. Obi quickly started to run with me.

I bursted through the doors, creating a loud BANG. I saw arms covering a head of blonde, at the front desk. Ryuu was at his table, writing some notes.

"U-UHM! EXCUSE ME! Zen said that someone named Akari is injured!" I shouted loudly, catching both their attention. They both stared at me wide eyed.

"W-what kind of joke is that Shirayuki.." Ryuu said. His once- soft voice, turned timid.

Suddenly, Obi ran through the open doors. "MASTER- HE SAID- HE SAID YOU GUYS NEED TO PREPARE FAST! HE'S COMING WITH SOME GIRL IN HIS ARMS!" Obi shouted, huffing between each word, as he probably ran through the whole castle.

I saw Ryuu cover his jaw dropped mouth, with his left hand. Before quickly getting to his feet, and closing all his books, he was once writing in.

Zen had ran in, Kiki and Mitsuhide behind him, the girl 'Akari' in his arms. I couldn't help, but feel a sting in my heart, at the sight. I pushed the bad thoughts running through my head. I was worried about her, and Zen looked like it too.

Third Person POV

"Akari- she has a dagger in her stomach. She probably passed out from blood loss." Zen presumed, rushing to lay her on a bed.

Garak rushed to check the pale girl, who laid limp, on the mattress. "Ryuu, grab me some sanitized tools, a towel, and stitches." she had chuckled before continuing, "I'll fix you up Akari, dooon't worry.. Don't worry." she stated, stretching out a few words.

"She's going to be okay, right?" Kiki questioned. It was rare to see the blonde with such an uneasy expression, and worried tone. Her usual cold façade, had now become vulnerable, and scared. Mitsuhide.. Well it looked like he was scared, and partially constipated. If that was his worried face.. Some could only wonder what his actually pooping face would look like-

"Nahh, you know the little butterfly. This isn't nearly as close as her worst injuries. And you guys saw that first hand too." Garak lightly laughed, while caressing Akari's right cheek.

"Uumm- if I may ask, who exactly is she..? And why are you guys calling her butterfly?" Obi asked, while scratching the bottom of his jaw.

"That's right! She called herself blue butterfly as well. Is there something going on with you two..?" Shirayuki asked, while glancing at Zen's anxious expression.

"Haha! No of course not! Akari is someone special to all three of us. She's like our sister. Actually, she used to work in the castle too." Mitsuhide slightly smiled.

"What? Then why did I see her in town?" The red headed lass questioned.

The air in the room had gone stiff, even Garak and Ryuu, who had been examining Akari, froze for a second.

"Is.. is that a sensitive topic? I'm sorry, I didn't know!" Shirayuki exclaimed, waving her arms in front of her face, worriedly.

Relieving the tension in the room, Kiki smiled. "Don't worry about it Shirayuki, I think it would be better to ask Akari once she's awake, and have her tell the story herself." Kiki said, while running her fingers through her long blonde hair.

After a long wait, Ryuu had finally stepped away to talk to the group. "Good news, she'll be fine. Bad news, she's going to be asleep for a while. I'm not sure what she was doing before this, but it made her body very fatigue, and weak. But, she should be good after a good amount of rest."
