I didn’t speak throughout the way back, too many questions were going through my head. Who was that girl and why was she with Conor?. I suppose that he doesn’t only have guy mates so yeah. Wait why I’m I even jealous? It’s not like he’s my boyfriend, I can just imagine that, Me and Conor dating, but of course I was going to have to face the hate from the Mayniacs which I wouldn’t be ready for it. The breeze hit me making me shiver from head to toe. Austin removed his jacket and placed it on my shoulders, my eyes looked into his, his eyes almost hypnotising me
“I don’t want you to get a cold..” He looked away
I felt kinda bad for him giving me his jacket, I didn’t want him to catch a cold either, I removed his coat from his shoulders and gave it back to him.
“I’ll be fine, don’t worry about me” I let out a small smile to reinsure him I was fine, he put his jacket back on and soon we were home. “Look I’m sorry for being quiet..-” Before I could go any further he cut me off “Lou its fine, sometimes a girl needs her space”. Wow this boy really understands me a lot, It’s like he can read me like I was a book, I stopped and pulled him in for a hug, Could I actually be falling for Austin , even though we were only together for a couple of hours?. I doubt it, maybe as good friends maybe, but even that would be a bit strange. I pulled away from the hug and walked inside. My Mum was still talking rubbish as always so I decided to walk up stairs to my room.
“YOU CAN COME UP IF YOU WANT!” as soon as I said that I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, I then grabbed Austin’s arm playfully and dragged him into my room giggling.
“Hey I don’t want to fall flat on my face” I couldn’t help but laugh, I wasn’t that strong for him to trip and fall. “Well maybe you’ll fall flat on your face like I did when I was young”. He shook his head and rolled his eyes. By the way we act it feels like we’re 7 year old kids again. And to be honest I’ll rather be 7, less drama and all.
I totally forgot I had hundreds of Conor Maynard posters in my room, Ugh this is so embarrassing, he’s gonna think I’m an obsessed freak or something. “So I see you like Conor Maynard..”, his eyes scanned my rooms walls. “Yeah I do..But I’m not obsessive or anything” , he continued to look around. “Well what if I said I hate him?..” His head turned to look at me. “Well I would beat you up!..Well maybe not that violent but I’ll chuck you out my window” wait isn’t chucking someone out the window more violent than beating someone up?..Well I would kill him if he hates Conor. “Well I hate Conor Maynard!” I grabbed my pillow and threw it towards him “GET OUT YOU MAYNARD HATER!”, he put his arms in front of his face trying to defend himself from the pillow I threw at him. I got up and jumped on his back. “AHH YOU’RE SO HEAVY GET OFF ME!”. My mouth made an O shape. “I’m not that heavy you peasant you’re just weak!”, Austin grabbed my legs positioning me for a piggy back. “Well you do know I was kidding about hating Conor right? He’s a pretty cool guy..Now for punishment!”. Wait did he just say punishment?..I have a feeling this is not going to end well. “P-Punishment?! What do you mean-“ Before I could say anything else he starting spinning in circles, Yup I was right it was not going to end well. “AUSTIN PUT ME DOWN!” He just laughed , everything was going too fast, Austin lost balance and fell on the bed as well as me. “You’re an idiot Austin..”. Ugh I had a massive head ache now, I decided to close my eyes until my head and vision was normal.
Beep Beep
It was my phone, I grabbed it and tried to see who it was from, my vision was going funny so it was hard to see who it was. Luckily it came back to normal a couple of seconds later .
“What if I told you I’ve been hanging around with one of Conor’s friends..What would you do?”
Wait could she really be hanging out with one of them?, well I was keeping a secret from her too, that I was actually hanging out with Conor. I quickly replied to her saying.
“I would kill you for not telling me!..haha kidding, but seriously I would be happy for you”
“Alright here it goes..I’ve been hanging with Anth lately, and I like him, but I don’t want to scare him away..”
I totally know how she feels, Wow I’m hanging out with Conor and she’s hanging out with Anth, I guess dreams really come true.
“When the right time comes, just tell him how you feel before he slips away”
“Okay thanks Lou :) x “
Why couldn’t I be honest with her like she was honest with me? I guess I just wasn’t ready to break the news, a part of me was scared of the hate and fake friends I would have gained for saying so. I looked over to Austin who had his snapback on top of his face
“Is that a new style that you’ve invented?..Snapbacks on your face?” I asked him raising my eyebrow, he removed the snapback from his face and looked at me. “It could be, How cool will boys look if they had snapbacks on their faces?”. I stopped to think about it “They would look like bigger idiots then they already are”.
I heard his mum shouting from the bottom of the stairs “AUSTIN TIME TO GO HOME!”, My eyes saddened when I heard that, we were having such a great time together . “Well Lou i guess I’ll see you another time..” I nodded then hugged him. “Come back soon okay?” he was such the perfect company for today. “I will..Hey how about we swap numbers so we can text each other?”. That was a great idea! , I gave him my phone and he gave me his and we started typing each other’s numbers then gave our phones back to one another.
“See Yah Lou”
“See ya Austin..” I waved goodbye and watched him walk off, I then checked the time 21:15..well I guess I should get ready for bed since I have to meet up with Conor tomorrow, I just want to know who he’s gonna bring along with him so badly, Hopefully it’s not going to be that girl that I saw earlier or I’m going to be super jealous. Let’s just hope nothing goes wrong and that I’ll have a blast with Conor and whomever he’s bringing along with him.
