Sapnap threw his hook onto the short counter. He didn't know why the human had decided to buy one so small, but they did. He always took advantage of that even though it was way taller than him. Even so, he could get onto there easily. It was also the place with the most food in the house. It was the ideal place to borrow from. Sapnap never accounted for the one simple problem it had, it was out in plain sight. The person could just waltz on in there with no warning and catch sapnap, but that hadn't happened yet. He grabbed a apple slice they had left put on the counter, and headed back to his hole at the sound of footsteps. He didn't know the humans name, heck, he'd never even heard him speak. He dove into his hole and got on his tiny computer, he used to live with a cat lady. That lady was crazy enough to make an entire functioning computer just for cats. Of course, it was to small and he had decided to take it. He didn't know how valuable that decision was. He booted it up, and texted Dream on discord. "Wanna play Minecraft?"

Even after the apple slice, he was still very hungry. Though he was stuffed for quite a while, his hunger all came back at once. Having just finished recording a video, he threw his hook onto the counter to grab some more food. He was three quarters of the way there when he heard footsteps. They were coming. He dashed away as quickly as he could, looking behind himself instead of paying attention to what was in front of him. He tripped over his hook and plummeted to the ground, without even realizing. When he hit the hard floor, he leaped under the coulter and his body flailed up with pain. His leg was broken along with his arm and he couldn't even fell the latter. He just hoped the human didn't look under the could tear very much.

He was doing better, he could walk and grab things but it still hurt bad. He finally made it out from under the shadow of the counter, and ascended his hook that was still perched up on the granite slab, untouched. He eventually made it up, and just sight of food made him happy. He hadn't eaten in days. He ran up to the fruit bowl, almost tripping twice, and started eating 🍇 GRAPES THE APES LOL. It tasted so good. He was so absorbed in the food, he was oblivious to the quiet footsteps coming closer, as he didn't realize until the looming shadow came over him. He froze, dropping his half eaten grape into the bowl and whipped around to face the human. They took a step towards him and that's when he realized... *chuckles* in in danger. "Please..." he mumbled, unable to keep looking any longer. Then a very familiar voice was heard. "Sapnap..?"

Dream was shocked. Had his friend voice just come out of this tiny... person!?!? He'd had experience with a borrower in the past, one named Tommy. But he had never expected this. He couldn't move. He couldn't process what he heard. He just stared as the borrower-sapnap, ran away and back into a hole somewhere in the wall.

Sapnap was shocked. Had dreams voice just come out of that human? Was that dream? He had no time to question as he realized this was his only chance. He dashed and defended the counter as quickly as he could, retreating into the hole. It was undeniable, that was who he thought it was, and he guessed dream must be thinking the same thing.
