Dream was watching George's stream and had decided to log onto the SMP around an hour ago. Sapnap and him had joined the call and started teasing George.

"I love you" Dream said trying to make it sound like he was joking. In reality Dream meant exactly what he said, but nobody knew.

"Say it back Georgie" he continued, watching George cover his face, was he smiling? Wait, was he blushing? No. He must just be laughing.

A few minutes after that George ended the stream and Sapnap left the discord chat.

Dream walked over to his bed and sat with his back on the head board. And continued to try get George to say it back.

"Okay okay. Fine." George's voice was quiet and dream would have missed it if he wasn't paying attention.

Dream felt himself smile, he hadn't expected George to agree to say it. He had never said it no matter how much Dream bugged him.

"I love you Dream."

Dream smiled at his phone, he knew George didn't mean it but it still made him happy to hear it, even if it was just a joke.

When George said he had to go to bed, dream suddenly didn't want him to leave. He just wanted to keep talking all night.

He kept bugging George until he went silent.

"George?" Dream whispered into the phone. "George?"

Then Dream heard George's quiet snoring and realised he'd fallen asleep on the call.

Dream lay down under his blankets and placed his phone down on his pillow. He  lay there for an hour or two just listening to George snoring and then went to get a glass of water.

When he turned the light on in the kitchen Patches jumped down from the countertop and ran to her food bowl, which was empty, and began to meow.

"Are you hungry Patches?" Dream said smiling fondly at the cat.

She meowed again as Dream poured some food into her bowl, before he grabbed a glass from the cupboard and filled it with water. He finished the water then went back to his room.

He'd almost forgotten that he was on a call with George until he knocked over a plate that was sitting near his bed and heard George wake up.

"What..." He heard George mutter still half asleep.

Dream picked up his phone and quickly apologized "Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up. I broke a plate. Sorry." He said quickly.

"Why didn't you hang up. I was sleeping." George groaned, tired.

Dream paused. He didn't have a good excuse to not hang up. He couldn't tell George that he liked him. George would never return those feelings.

"Dream?" George said slightly louder this time.

"Oh sorry. I got distracted. What did you say?"

"Nothing. Nevermind" George said.

"So... Should I hang up or something?" Dream asked

"Yeah. I need a shower. I'll talk to you and sapnap later." George said before hanging up.

"Bye Georgie" Dream muttered to himself.

Dream fell asleep almost straight away.

Okay that's chapter two. Again if you have any suggestions let me know. The next chapter is back to George's POV. Hope you enjoyed.
