(A/N: Hello readers! I was gonna post this chapter MUCH earlier, but due to some personal reasons, I decided to take a small break from Wattpad and then continue writing this story afterward. I've worked pretty hard on these next 3 chapters, so I hope you like them!

How are you all doing? Let me know by typing a comment or response here!)

Sophie's POV:

Juliet and I decide to go to a local sandwich shop for lunch, and we get to know a little more about each other. It's so silly because I literally don't know anything about her so far; I don't even know if this is the Juliet that Julian talked about. But, for whatever reason, I already like her.

"So, where do you live in New York?" she asks me after we get our food and sit at a table.

"Greenwich Village. You?"

"I actually live in Los Angeles."

"Oh, what brings you here, then?"

"I'm a band manager for a band based in LA, and they are on a tour right now. We are spending some extra time here since this is our last stop of the tour."

"Gotcha."

"But I used to live in New York a few years ago."

"Were you a band manager in New York as well?"

"Yeah, I was an assistant band manager, but I got fired from the position. So, I moved to LA after that."

The smallest smile appears on my face as I start to connect the dots together. I decide to ask her more to confirm the thought in my head.

"May I ask which band that was? In New York?"

"It was The Strokes."

A smile grows on my face. "That's awesome! They're literally my most favorite band. And I'm well connected with each of the guys."

"Really? That's cool! Like, you have personal connections with each of them?" she begins to smile as well.

"Yep! You must keep in touch with them as well, even though you are not living here?"

"Yeah, I still do. Jules and I actually dated for a bit when I was still working for The Strokes," she smiles a little, making me smile fully.

"That's such a crazy coincidence," I play along, as Julian has already told me this part of the story. "You know, I also dated him for a little while back then."

"Actually?" she chuckles, surprised. "Small world, huh?"

"For real," I agree. "We're still great friends to this day."

"Same here, we touch base every once in a while. He's really nice."

"He's told me a little bit about you, you know? He likes you."

"Yeah, I still like him too. As a friend though," she smiles, feeling a little shy.

We continue to talk about our own lives and our experience with Julian, making us grow a little closer in the process. I notice how pleasantly the conversation is going, and how we don't feel too awkward around each other.

After our nice lunch, we exchange each other's numbers.

"It was actually pretty fun to do this, Sophie. Nice meeting you."

"Yeah, for sure. Nice meeting you too. How much longer are you here for?"

"Just a few more days."

"Okay, maybe we can meet up again if there's any chance."
