[Ryuko's pov]

I wake up and look around it's been ten months since senketsu sacrificed himself to save me, I still feel like I could of done better to save him but it doesn't matter now he's gone and would want me to keep living -sister do you want to be late- i hear satsuki say then I quickly get dressed then run out -so sorry I lost track of time again- I say and my sister sighs -just start being more careful ok- satsuki says then we head out we barely make it to school on time, the day goes as usual not much important stuff going on in class hanging out with mako who seems to never shut up about how cool she thinks gamagori is, and sometimes breaking into fights with other students it was my daily ruitin but it was half way through the day when I saw uzu in the park he looked like he was, crying

[Uzu's pov]

Five hours earlier

I wake up to the sound of my mother and father talking it was normal to me they are loud when they talk, even now months after the life fiber incident I still am behind matoi in sword fighting, while she still has her scissor blade she uses that only when necessary, we still are rivals but we do act like we hate eachother alot, heck she might actually hate me -uzu hurry up you might be late to school if you don't hurry up- mom says and I get ready, I grab my former blind fold, now adays I just use it as a head band -bye I'll be home in a bit ok- I say and head to school so far it's been the same old shit, gamagori talking about mankanshoku without end, nanon and inumuta being tsundere's twards the other, and several people trying to beat me in a sword fight Nothing out of the ordinary until around 1:00 pm I was strolling in the giant park behind the school I was in the middle when I got a phone call obviously I answered

-are you uzu sanageyama- the guy on the other end of the phone asks -yeah I'm him, who are you and why did you call me- I say as I hear him exhale -I regret to inform you that your parents have perished in a car accident less than thirty minutes ago- he says and my eye widen -th-this is some kind of joke right, a prank call there's no way th- I'm cut off -I'm sorry but there was nothing we could do to save them- I hang up the phone and I slump against a tree crying, I hear someone walking twards me, I get one glimpse and can tell it's matoi -what are you doing here matoi- she sits down right behind me on the other side of the tree -why are you crying, I'm willing to listen don't worry, we may be rivals but I also consider you a kind of friend- I could tell that last part was a lie but I didn't really want to keep it to myself -my parents, I got a call saying they both died in a car accident- I say -I see well look on the bright side you never have to worry about them walking in on you- she says and we both chuckle a little-in all seriousness I know how you feel, I lost my dad before I could even really get to know him, I spent months trying to kill my sister because for some reason i thought she was the killer, then I had to kill my bitch crazy mom, so yeah I'd say I have a harder family life but I can feel you in the way of losing family- she says -guess we both have people we morn over, I mean it's obvious from what lady satsuki has told me and the others that you still morn over senketsu- I say

[Ryuko's pov]

He wasn't wrong I still morn over senketsu but it really didn't matter right now, I get up and go to the other side of the tree and stick my hand out -friends- I say and he grabs my hand -friends- he says and gets up we both leave the park

[Makos pov]

Did I see that right, ryuko and uzu talking as if they were best friends, ooh I've got to tell gamagori this. My eye's light up, sparkling with anticipation as I go to find gamagori, I run into the big guy then scramble up his back -huh, mankanshoku what are you doing- gamagori says as I position my legs over his shoulders -sorry it's just easier to talk to you while up here- I say and he sighs -I'm not that big a person mankanshoku- he says and I put my head right infront of his -are you sure your really big plus I need to be up here just so I can talk to you with eye contact- I say then he moves my head back up -so why did you come and climb up my back mankanshoku- he asks and I exhale then give one of my over complicated hard to understand explanations but he seems to understand by now -i see so do you think anything will happen- he asks

-honestly I'm not sure but I do hope that it turns into something- I say looking into his eye's

[Gamagori's pov]

Damn it mankanshoku why do you have to look at me like that, I'm trying my damnest not to blush but some how this is harder than it should be. -ahem I hope I'm not interpreting anything- satsuki says -lady satsuki what brings you here today- I ask and she looks at me and mankanshoku -firstly shouldn't you two be a bit more professional- she says then I blush as mankanshoku just rests her head on mine showing she won't budge -secondly I need to leave for a month because of business- satsuki says -I see, I hope you have a good trip lady satsuki- I say and she leaves, I presume to fill in the others along with her followers, even after the incident months ago people still follow her

[Makos pov]

-well guess satsuki won't be around for awhile- i say and gamagori looks at me then he starts to leave school because the bell rings and I stay on him

[Ryuko's pov]

I've been hanging out with uzu most of the day, I've given him a hard time before but that was because I didn't really know him before, now I should have a good time being friends with him, I arrive at my Manson and see satsuki on the porch -hey sis whats up- i say and she looks at me, I can tell something is off -i got intelligence on life fibers showing up in a small city- she says and I look surprised -didn't you say they'd die out within a few days after the incident- i say and she sighs -I'm gonna be gone for a month so I hope you don't cause trouble- she says and I smirk -you really expect to be leaving with out me- I say and she sighs -how did I know you'd say that- she says and I smirk -because its me- i say and she signals to pack my stuff I run up stairs to prepare for what's to come

[Uzu's pov]

I walk home, depressed knowing my parents won't be there to greet me, or spend time with or talk to, I feel a tear roll down the side of my face and I get a call and see that it's from ryuko I pick it up, -hello- I say -hey uzu I just wanted to let you know me and satsuki are leaving town for awhile, I already invited the others to join, do you want in- she says and I put some thought into my decision but ultimately agree to go -fine I'm in- I say as I arrive home, I pack up enough supplies to last two months and then go to the instructed location to meet at, I see gamagori carring a sleeping mankanshoku on his shoulders along with both of there luggage, I see nanon sitting on a rock staring at inumuta who's not paying attention instead on his laptop -HEY, COME ON WE NEED TO GET GOING- i hear ryuko yell from a distance, instantly mankanshoku springs to life -HEY RYUKO- she yells and gamagori winced as she did so, probably leaving his ear drums ringing -hurry up already- lady satsuki says and the others get into satsukis limo, I stay out and stick with my motorcycle and I see ryuko does the same

[Satsukis pov]

I expected this much from my sister,but I'm suprised about the actions of sanageyama, the limo takes off and I notice a few oddities, first one is that not once so far has anyone even addressed the situation or even asked about it, next oddity is how gamagori has a bright red face with mankanshoku on his lap it's odd, final oddity is how not once so far has ryuko and sanageyama broken into a fight or even argument, from the looks of it while driving there vehicles there also talking like there old friends, maybe my sister is done crying about the death of zenketsu, I may feel morse over losing a good soul, but I'm not crying months after because of it, after the three hour trip we arrive in gorgon, a small city where life fibers supposedly are still around
