This happens book in an alternate universe in which he doesn't meet Clement , Bonnie and Serena just yet . The story starts off from the starting of the Pokémon XY episode regarding the cave of reflections .

Note: Ash has 3 Badges and was on the way for his fourth

Pokémon : Pikachu ; Thunder Bolt , Quick Attack , Iron Tail , Electro Ball

Greninja ; Water Shuriken , Night Slash , Double Team , Ariel Ace

Fletchinder ; Flame Charge , Quick Attack , Brave Bird , Steel Wing

The start of the story

Ash is walking with Pikachu on his shoulder and Greninja beside him when he hears a scream coming from the forest

Ash POV

Ash : what was that?

Greninja : ash I think someone's in danger

Pikachu : lets check it out

(Ash and his Pokémon run in the direction of the noise)

Scene { two team flare agents are trying to take a green blob like Pokémon away from a little girl.

while one adult is protecting the girl .}

Ash : Leave them alone !!!!!!! (ash shouts)

(Pikachu jumps off ash's shoulder and lands in front of him and Greninja takes a battle stance)

Grunt1 : Hey kid back off !!!

Grunt2 : Run before you get hurt

Ash : Pikachu use Thunder Bolt on those grunts

(Pikachu uses TB and hits one of them while the other one dodges and picks up a gun points it at the little girl . ash is too late to see the gun pointed at the girl and orders another thunder bolt )

Grunt2 : the girl will pay for your mistake (he fires the gun )

(ash finally notices this and watches in horror as the bullet goes in the direction of the girl in slow motion, suddenly the man jumps in between the girl and the bullet and gets hit by it in the chest )

The Green Blob Like Pokémon Runs Away into the Forest

{the grunt runs away as ash runs to aid the man}

Ash is now standing near the man

The man : Young-g man P-please Promise me t-that you w-will Take Care O-Of my D-Daughter

Ash : yes sir I will . Its my fault after all that she will lose her father

The Man : take care of her ( he takes his last breadth and dies )

(Ash the calls officer jenny and tells her what happened there and that he will meet her in shalour city)

(Ash slowly walks up to the girl but the girl gets scared and runs and hides behind a tree)

Ash : Hey I will not hurt you (ash make the hands up pose)

The Girl : Who are you ? and where is my dad ?

Ash : I'll tell you after wards but first come with me, I'll make you feel better (with a sad smile)

The Girl : ok-k (she slowly walks to ash)

Ash : Now tell me your name?( ash gives her a reassuring Smile)

The Girl : ok-k my name-e is K-Kaylin

Ash : what a nice name , Now let me check you for Injuries

(ash checks her any injuries and used the spare bandages to close the open cuts)

Time Skip to the Shalour city Pokémon Center

(Ash walks in with Kaylin hiding behind him)

Officer. Jenny : You must be ash I suppose

Ash : Yes I'm , and this I Kaylin behind me

(Ash tells Officer Jenny what happened there and how it happened and also that Kaylin only trusts him and also that her index finger of her right hand is broken and that it needs to be treated)

Time skip to where ash has brought food for himself and Kaylin

Kaylin : Ash can I call you daddy?

This takes Ash aback

Ash : Why?

Kaylin : Its because you remind me of my dad because he also was very brave like you

Ash : You can call me whatever you want Kaylin ( He gave that in a sweet and soft voice and gave her a warm smile)

Kaylin : Yay ( said Kaylin while hugging ash )

Ash : Did anyone tell you that you are the cutest ( ash said while hugging her back )

as soon as Ash hugged her , her stomach started to growl
Ash : Looks like someone's hungry (ash said while giggling)

Kaylin : Yeah I have not eaten since todays incident happened ( Kaylin said while frowning)

Ash : Hey no need to be sad I'll take you with me on my journey with me (said ash while smiling)

Kaylin : Really ! Yay ( said Kaylin while dancing around the Pokémon center room
Ash : Now c'mon eat your food

(Kaylin sat facing ash while feeding her the soup)

Kaylin : Daddy can I ask you something

Ash : Of course Sweet pea

Kaylin : can you sing me a Song , My dad always used to sing a song before bed time

Ash : Of course I can sing you a song
