Lily sat on her bed and thought about the thing Severus told her today. What was he hiding? He was only 9 years old what could it possibly be that makes him not want to talk about it? She tried remembering what she had seen on Severus' book cover – something with dark arts. What did they mean with dark arts? It sounded like some witchcraft thing, but she knew that this was nonsense since witches and wizards technically didn't exist.

knock knock. Petunia opened the door without having any permission. 'I heard you thinking out loud. You really forget how loud you are. And it is very late' said Petunia with an annoyed tone. 'Well, I'm sorry I didn't recognize how loud I was or even that I was thinking out loud' answered Lily. 'I just heard Severus and I was curious. Why do you think about that boy so often? You barely know him, and you still treat him like an old friend. He is bad news – trust me' Petunia didn't like Severus. But she had no reason. Severus wasn't unfriendly the time they've met. He was just shy but even towards Lily. 'Why do you always judge people by its cover? You don't know him either and you criticize him like he did something to you. You only dislike him because he looks different' 'Exactly, Lily. He looks different, so he is different. And odd people have dark secrets. I tell you that' Petunia said proudly. 'You're only 4 years older and you act like you have experiences of an adult, which you don't have. You are only 12 and just because your former best friend was weird and hurt you doesn't mean that everyone is like that. That's a thing I really hate about you. You're so intolerant and limited' Petunia was shocked and couldn't believe what Lily just said to her. And Lily already regretted that she'd said anything. 'Lily, you know that you just put yourself in so much trouble. I'm going to tell Mom and Dad about Severus and what he did the other night, and you won't see him ever again!'

'Petunia, No, ple-' but Petunia stopped her and left Lily's room with the door wide open. And Lily teared up and she thought about how Severus' life must be. Maybe easier than hers.

Severus' Birthday was over, and he woke up to the sound of birds singing. He couldn't remember what happened last night when he came come. It was all a blur to him because he cried himself to sleep. He rubbed his eyes and grabbed the book he bought yesterday - Masters of the dark art vol.1. Suddenly, Lily popped up in his head and he thought about their conversation they've had yesterday. Maybe Lily was, after all, a very trustworthy person and wouldn't judge him. She even defended him Infront of her own sister. And Severus knew that his honesty was the only thing that could keep their friendship alive. He didn't want Lily to be a neighbour who only says hello when it's necessary and only to be polite. He wanted her as a real friend and as a part of his life. He knew that she could heal him just a little bit. So, maybe it was time for him to tell her even though they've only known each other less than two days.

Severus opened the book and started reading the contents. A list of really strange names who were bad for the wizarding world. Grindelwald was the weirdest name on the list. He skipped to page 394. The chapter about the odd persona Grindelwald.

''Gellert Grindelwald was born in 1883 and went to the Durmstrang wizarding school-

The school known for their focus on dark arts. Grindelwald was a proud wizard who

wanted wizards and witches to be seen; to put them almost over Muggels. He fought

for the wizarding world's rights and was very charming with his work. He gained a

lot of followers world-wide and brainwashed them that he never wanted to do any

harm towards Muggle born. He is still alive, and it is still unclear who really turned
