Pyramid Work (Cub x Scar)

The squeltering hot sun was pouring down upon the shoulders of the egyptian style builder, roasting his shoulders past the point of tan, but he wouldn't stop building.

Throught days in this desert a large pyramid structure appeared almost in the blink of an eye.

Away from the desert our wizard freind was tending to his flourishing gardens, grinning at the small gift he was preparing for his boyfreind.

He was making a small flower crown infused with wizard magic, it wasn't much but Cub always incoraged him in his magical ways even when others wouldn't.

Scar hadn't seen Cub for a few days and he knew his boyfriends building tendencies, so he was starting to get worried.

A few days had gone by and Scar was getting worried so he gathered some items like bottled water, sun screen, and his sun hat and flew towards his boyfriends base.

Cub was still working under the hot sun, he hadn't been able to sleep because of the heat so he has just been working and working. It was about mid day now, and the sun is at its hottest. Sweating and heaving Cub had became tired and shaky. This dizziness was different then the heat waves that have traveled through his body other days, this feeling was heavier. His body grew heavy with his eyes and he lost his balance, rolling down the side of his pyramid to the soft sand below his build.

Coming through a portal from the Nether realm appeared Scar, looking for his boyfreind hoping to either find him resting or working safely on his build, but he found neither. Scar saw a golden figure radiating under the sun slumped on the ground and rushed over.

Scar examined Cub quickly, seeing no imidiate damage but a mild case of heat stroke, he tried dragging him out of the sun, which for Scar was a ni impossible task. Scar isn't the strongest, Cub was the physically fortified one in the relationship so Scar had to use all his might to move him, and being scared for Cubs life helped him with a rush of adrenalin allowed him to move him at least inside the smaller pyramid.

Laying Cub down on his bed Scar gave him some water a wet towel, even thought they where out of the sun is was unreasonably hot.

The small pyramid had all sorts of amenities but Scar thought of one more it could have, a small indoor chilled pool. Being inside helped with the cooling process so all scar had to do was gather some supplies and water. Scar build a cute little fountain in the corner of the pyramid, laying some packed ice inside the insulated walls under the base of the pool, and then took the water from the lake outside Cub's base.

He also decided well he was waiting for Cub to wake up to go collect some nice flowers to lay in the pool, once Scar had retrieved some of Cub's favorite flowers be checked up on his boyfriend.

Cubs breathing was much less labored then before and the tomato red of his skin had died down significantly, Scar knew some first aid and magical healing so just in case he used his magic to heal around Cub's head and neck area to protect it from prior damage. He was waiting for a while till he heard a small noise from beside him, Cub had stired awake confused at his surroundings.

Cub's Pov

I woke up, I didn't even realize I went to sleep, but then I felt a warm wet rag on my forhead and covering my eyes. That's strange why would I put a wet rag on myself. I move slightly forcing the rag to move from my eye revealing my boyfreind Scar sitting next to me.

He seemed distracted by his book until I made another disgruntled grunt at the dull pain I was feeling. His eyes rushed over to mine with a worried look. Both out eyes met and calm rushed over us both.

He got up and removed the rag asking how I felt? Pretty shitty I answered, he expected my smart ass remark and rolled his eyes, asking if I felt alright to stand. My legs where a bit wobbly but I was able to stand with his help. He started to lead me to an unused corner of my small pyramid, well explaining how he found me he had a goofy looking grin on his face, what did he do? I know he built somthing, that's the look he always gets after building somthing he is proud of and its the cutest thing in the world to me.

He brought me over to a small cooled pool filled with flowers. He helped me out of my Pharoah head dress and golden accents lowering me into the cold water allowing me to cool off for a while. Scar brought me some more water and some cute sandwiches shaped like 2D pyramids, cute.

I sat in the water across from Scar who had put his feet into the cold water, I had complemented him on his choice of flowers in the cold water and his faced lit up saying he almost forgot. Scar jumped up from the pool and rushed over to his bag, grabbing a small rounded colorful item. He rushed back over sliding on the now wet sandstone and fell into the water almost on top of me, his hands where held above the water though, holding a small flower crown. After his head popped back out of the water with a slightly upset face he noticed the flower crowns safety and a big smile crawled across his face once more. He move even closer to me and placed it on my head, leaning in as he did so, his lips almost colliding with my nose, till he quickly retreated looking at me with a gleeful smile.

After a while I had gotten tired and Scar noticed as always, basically pulling me out of the water and back to bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep.

Scar's Pov

He's been so busy but he is over working himself, typical Cub.

Maybe I can help him. 

I build and build, this pyramid was drab work but Cub loved it, he did complex redstone, mechanics I could never understand, but his build style was so minimalistic, its always nice to have another build to look at that isn't as complicated as my Fairy Forest.

Its been a few hours and the sun had started to set, I was still building, I wanted to make sure this side of the pyramid was finished for Cub, he's going to be so happy.

Cub's Pov

I woke up again, much cooler and in less pain then earlier. I looked around not seeing Scar around like last time, I wonder where he went.

I looked around my small pyramid, seeing the sun was staring to set, man I've been sleeping for hours. Not finding Scar I left my small pyramid. I heard some grumbling noises coupled with the scraping of sandstone I flew around the side of my pyramid, seeing the previously unfinished side was now almost fully complete, with a purple robed wizard building at the bottom.

The grumbling was coming from the wizardly man knowing he hated repetitive things like this so him building this for me was amazing. I couldn't help myself and gave him a big hug from behind frightening him slightly but he soon melted into my arms.

He was very warm, and even more unprepared for the desert climate. He was weak under the suns heat and in my arms so I lifted him bridal style back to my mini pyramid.

Giving him water, and food he felt much better quickly, but we both fell into a tired state quickly opting to fall asleep in my mini pyramid.
