By now you've likely read every chapter of this book. But nonetheless...
SPOILER WARNING!!! Everything in this chapter will be referring to Easter eggs, theories, and details from every episode of WandaVision. Additionally, the questions and predictions could lead to spoilers for future MCU projects.
You have been warned! Let the round-up commence!
Below is a combination of what you all submitted and some of my own thoughts and questions about what happens to our characters and plot points beyond WandaVision. Definitely comment with your own thoughts on these items and let me know what I missed!
Wanda- Hero or Villian:
From stich252- "So Wanda is definitely going to be in the new doctor strange movie, BUT... we don't necessarily know which role she'll be taking. She's either be the villain or she works alongside Stephen. I don't see her as the villain because of the end credits scene of Doctor Strange 1 and how they worked together in endgame. The only way she could possibly be a villain is if her power overwhelms her and makes her lose control, creating some monster out of her."From BooksRule4ever0- "I, for one, do not think that Wanda will become a villain. Here are some of my thoughts... Wanda has always been super misunderstood. She will make one mistake while she is only trying to do what she believes to be right and then she is persecuted for it. In all honesty, I think that will happen again in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Wanda will start off by trying to do something to save/bring back Billy and Tommy, but the general public will see it as an extremely villainous thing, when, in all reality, she is just a broken woman trying to piece back her shattered life. In the end, she will always be a good person, a HERO. Wanda may lose her way every now and then because she is not a perfect soldier but she will always make things right because she is a good woman."
From me- I think Wanda is going to be the villain. In some of the same ways that she has always been misunderstood to be the villain, I think by the end of WandaVision (or another breaking point beyond it that we see in her next MCU appearance) she is starting to accept herself as actually being the villain. If she constantly isn't fighting to be the hero, she isn't constrained by the rules governing her behavior. This means she will find a way to bring her family back, even if it brings more dark magic into the world and that is where I think it overlaps with Dr. Strange. I think his role and hope is to "save her" from doing too much to be forgiven.
Billy & Tommy:
From bangiekabutz- "Billy and Tommy get reincarnated as some other boys and find Wanda again."From zqtrlnd-27- "I think the twins are going to come back to the MCU because I think they're, or at least one of them is a part of the New Avengers and Feige said there will be another Avengers movie in the future."
From me- I think this is where we might FINALLY get our Mephisto roll in. Based on my limited understanding of Mephisto's role in the comics, there is a plot line in the comics where Scarlet Witch uses Mephisto's soul to create Billy & Tommy. So, what if Wanda uses the magic she learns from the Darkhold to figure out how to create Billy & Tommy 2.0 from Mephisto's soul. The problem here is that, in the comics, Mephisto reabsorbs the twins. This could be what triggers Wanda to really go off the deep end.
White Vision:
From zqtrlnd-27- "The question that I have is where on earth did White Vision disappear to? And is he going to play a role in helping Wanda stop being mad. I don't know where I saw it or if it was mentioned in the show but the Darkhold makes you evil or something if you read it."From me- Now that he knows the truth of OG Vision and Wanda's love together, what is her going to do with it. I wonder if White Vision could play a role in trying to help Dr. Strange get Wanda to return to her true, non-villainous self.
The Darkhold:
From BooksRule4ever0- "In AoS, Aida/Ophelia (an evil A.I. who is trying to take over the world, she also was trying to create a human body rather than the android one that she had) used the Darkhold to improve the Framework (the framework was a VIRTUAL REALITY that she imprisoned her enemies in). We know that the Darkhold talks about Chaos magic and the Scarlet Witch. What if Wanda somehow created her reality in a virtual way, similar to the Framework? That would explain the T.V. signal that it let out during the first couple episodes. Or, what if Aida used the Darkhold and somehow created the Framework (the updated version) with Chaos magic? If so, does Aida still exist? She was killed by Ghost Rider, a vengeance consumed spirit who also claimed to have 'sold his soul to the devil'. What if that devil was actually Chthon? The 'god' who wrote the Darkhold? Aida could very well be alive..."From me- I think the Darkhold could be the book that was stolen from the library at Kathmandu. I know I've said this before, but I think this could be another connection to Dr. Strange for his second movie. It's also another reason that I think Wanda will be the/a villain in that movie- where Dr. Strange represents good magic, Wanda represents dark magic and chaos magic (sorry if I'm getting some of the terms wrong). They become two sides to the same coin and the Darkhold is one of the main connections.
What else still wasn't answered...
Supposedly-fake Westview and the "missing person's case": I've continued to wonder why the supposed Eastview sheriff's said that Westview didn't even exist when we clearly know it does. They made too big a fuss about this for it to be a plot hole. Directly connected to this is the question of who was the person in Jimmy's "Missing Person's Case". Well, the WandaVision director, Matt Shakman, says the missing person will be identified in a future MCU project! Who do you think it will be? Do you think it will also explain the question of why the Eastview sheriff's said Westview didn't exist?
Monica's guy: This was an ongoing debate about whether Major Goodner was the person Monica was referring to as her guy or not. Many still think it is Reed Richards, laying the groundwork to introduce the Fantastic 4. I am honestly not sure on this one and am very interested to see how it pans out.
The Skrull and Monica: Now we go to the questions left by the mid-credits scene with Monica and the Skrull talking in the movie theater. In my opinion, the Skrull is definitely talking about the SWORD base, The Peak, that orbits the earth and Fury. From the post-credits scene in Spider-man: Far From Home, it seems that Fury is already up there (before WandaVision even happened there was a lot of speculation that Fury was on The Peak just from the post-credits scene), so for me this all makes perfect sense. What will she do then and will we not see her until Captain Marvel 2, we'll have to wait and see.
When will we see Darcy next: If we weren't already in love with Darcy, we certainly are now. Here's hoping we see her in Thor: Love and Thunder!
And finally... the only question any of us really care about...
To get blood out of white linen (or any white non-protein-based fabric), use the following as a guide:
1. It is easier to get fresh blood out of white fabric than dried blood.
2. Always use cold water to rinse it!
3. Enzyme-based cleansers are great to use, except on protein-based fabrics such as wool and silk, because they work by breaking down the animal proteins.
4. Start by blotting the stain with a clean, dry cloth; rinse with cold water; treat the stain with a stain-removal product of choice (one recommended online was hydrogen peroxide, but I'd recommend closely following instructions you find for how to do this); launder as usual; air dry or line-dry (because if the stain remains you can treat the stain again, but if you use a dryer, the stain gets locked into the fabric). So, that's how you remove blood from white linen, Dottie.
Bitch.
Love you all! Can't wait to see you on the hunt in...
