Jacob had spent his weeks not talking with the family and just keeping to himself. Lola was the same but tried to make up for what had happened. The snow was still coming and lots of it. The family had to make sure that they had plenty of wood and meat to last them. Jacob went by the tree to go visit his mother's grave. He brought her some wild flowers and was sitting there just missing her terribly.

Lola came up to him holding his hand. "I'm sorry, she must have been really beautiful." Lola said smiling. "It's ok Lola. She was. She was giving birth to my younger brother Michael and she just didn't make it. We wound up here on this cannibal farm but we didn't know it. She needed help and so she begged Gabriel and them to let us in and they did. So that's what happened."

Jacob began to cry a bit while Lola hugged him, comforting him. The two stood there in front of the headstone that had been marked by Gabriel and Noah.

A loving mother and a beloved friend.

Jacob looked at it and he kissed his fingers placing those same fingers on her stone. "I love you mama." He said through tears. Lola hugged him again, he looked down at her since she was shorter than him. The two shared a kiss while the wind blew making them both shiver. They heard a noise and it was Charles. "Come on inside you two it's cold." He said with a smile. They shared a smile and went inside the house. Dinner was passed around the table with everyone laughing and talking.

(Short but I didn't wanna write too much for tonight.)
