Epilogue
Today was Sunday and Rohaan was sleeping on his soft and comfortable bed, because today was the day when he could sleep peacefully after working tirelessly for several weeks. Amreen knew but she was
helpless. She gave Rohaan three hours of extra sleep, but due to being very tired last night, he did not eat properly. he was very busy these days about the construction of a mall, she made Rohaan's favorite breakfast today, So that he can eat properly.
She had awakened him twice before but her stubborn husband was not bothered at all."Uth bhi jayen ab, aur kitna sona hai aapko."
Amreen removed the sheet from his face and spoke angrily.
He gave no answer and fell asleep again with the sheet covering his face.
"Rohaan uth jayen na, aapke itezaar me mai bhi bhooki bethi ho. Rohaan gyarh baj rhe hai, pleeeeeeeaaasssss." She pouted as he opened his red sleepy eyes.
"Yaar ek hi din toh milta hai mujhe hafte me aur tumne sunday ko bhi nhi sone dena hai mujhe."
His voice was laced with sleep as he settled his head on her lap yawning.
"Aapko sirf apni neend ki pari hai, meri koi fikr nhi hai aapko ki aapke liye bhooki bethi hu."
She stated clearly annoyed with his stubbornness, as she made him sit on the bed in front of her forcefully.
"Acha ab gussa mat ho, tum nashta lagao me fresh hoker aata hun, phir sath nashta karenge. Hmmm!!"
He took her innocent face in his hands and kissed her forehead lovingly, who just nodded her head in response. Maybe she was still angry with him.She was very naive, would get angry at a little thing but would also agree quickly.
He was thinking about giving her a surprise, it had been a long time and both of them had not gone out. Heck!! They had been married for more than two months but he did not even take her on a honeymoon."Acha suno, aaj sham ko tayar rehna."
She nodded and left the as she was too hungry. when she came out, she saw Rohaan's mamu and mumani sitting in the living room talking to Amma, seeing her, fear gripped her whole being making her shudder. She did not know why she came here, but her arrival is a threat to her happiness.
she was not able to hear their talks because she was standing on the stairs,After thinking for a while, she thought to face her because whatever happened she could not run anymore from her as this woman was from her in-laws and she would have to respect her. Amreen said her salam and came and sat down with her mother-in-law. She was not talking about her, rather she had come to invite them to her son's wedding. Amreen could not believe that Mumani had not told anything about her mother to her mother-in-law, she breathed a sigh of relief and went to arrange tea and snacks. Maheen also came to the kitchen to help her."Aashifa, functions toh agle hafte se shuru ho jayenge lekin tumhe usse pehle aakar sari tayyariyan krni hai aur mai koi bahana nhi sunuga."
Rohaan's maternal uncle said while picking up a kebab from the plate.
"Haan apa aapko hi sari cheezen dekhni hai kyoki mere ghar toh ye pehli shadi hai aur mujhe koi experience nhi hai."
Mumani said holding Rohan's mother's hand, Aashifa Begum smiled and told her not to bother and said that she would definitely help them in the wedding preparations."Assalam o alaikum everyone, kya baten ho rhi hai, meri absence me?"
When Rohaan came down all fresh, he was a little surprised by the sudden arrival of his maternal uncle and aunt but then saying salam he sat down near Mamu.
"Aao beta, mai abhi tumhare liye puchne hi wali thi. Ham tumsab ko invite krne aaye hain, Zahid ki shadi ke liye."
His maternal uncle told Rohan about his son getting married. Both of them seemed very happy about the marriage of their only son.
"Aree yeh toh bahot Khushi ki baat hai bahot bahot mubarak aapko mamu, mumani."
Rohaan embraces his maternal uncle and congratulates him
"Shukriya bete, acha Aashifa ab ham chalte hai aur logon ko bhi invitation dene hai." They took their leave after inviting them once more.
"Thank you."
Amreen said lovingly putting her arms around Rohaan's neck
"Kya baat hai aaj begum sahiba ko bara pyar aa rha hai apne bechare shohar par?"
