(This is an au where everyone had powers, with Bad being able to heal and Skeppy being able to shapeshift.)

Skeppy's POV
It's been several months already. I was on the run with Bad who volunteered to help me on my way. I will never forget that day when Techno accused me of murdering the leader of The Blood Gods, now I've got the whole gang after me on Techno's orders. He became the new leader and stated to every single member of the gang to hunt me down, bring me back to the base and let himself kill me. I don't want to put anyone into trouble so I refused to let Bad come along at first, but he did get me out in a few tight spots so I guess we'll stick together. Well, that's all you need to know for now.

"Geppy! Come back here you muffinhead!" 

I saw Bad running around, trying to find me as I easily shapeshifted into a flower. We were practicing so when Techno found me, I would still be able to get away. I turned back to my human form and Bad started running towards me, so I hopped on a branch and tried to shapeshift into a leaf. However, I tripped and fell from the tree. Bad caught me but I sprained my ankle. He quickly healed me and I began shapeshifting again until it was nighttime. We headed back into the house only to hear a soft knocking on the door. Bad looked through the peephole and turned around with a shocked expression.

"It's Techno."

Bad's POV
I can't express how shocked I am. How could Techno possibly find us? We've been covering our tracks and none of the members found us before. 

"I know you are in there Skeppy and Bad. Open up." Techno's voice seemed calm but threatening. I lead Skeppy into the living room and have him shapeshift into a cup, as Techno bellowed, "OPEN THE DOOR OR I'LL BLAST IT OPEN!" 

I put him on a cupboard and made sure he can fool Techno using his power while Techno kicked the door open. I ran to the backdoor only to see the rest of the gang in the garden. I was surrounded as Techno asked, "Where is Skeppy?" 

I looked around. The gang hasn't noticed Skeppy yet. "I don't know." 

Techno seemed unsatisfied with my answer. He grabbed me by the collar neck and lifted me into the air. "Now answer me honestly again. Where. Is. Skeppy." He looked at me dead in the eyes as I tried to loosen his grip on me. 

"He- never mind. I'm not telling you anything." I felt my heart pounding faster and faster every second as Techno glared at me, "I am going to give you ONE last chance. Where. Is. Skeppy." 

I closed my eyes shut. I had never felt so terrified before. He bellowed, "ANSWER ME BADBOYHALO! OR DO YOU WANT TO HAVE A TASTE OF OUR DISPLEASURE?" He took out a knife and pointed it to my throat. "Now," he said calmly. "Answer me." 

I realized that betraying Skeppy won't do any good to me. Even if there are advantages of doing that, wouldn't that make me a coward who backstab their friends? I won't do that to anyone, especially one's that I love... Making up my mind, I forced this sentence out of my mouth. "I would never, ever betray him." 

Techno's expression turned into a forced smile. "I see. I see, so you would rather die than betraying your friend. Interesting. Then may your wish be fulfilled."

 He said softly in my ears as I felt his grip on me tightened. He lifted me high in the air and threw me on the floor, his hand reached out for my neck and held the knife in front of my face as my eyes widened in fear. He plunged the blade in my arm as I screamed. Techno pulled it out and stabbed me in the leg. I screamed in agony, pleading for Techno to stop. 

"But isn't this what you chose? This isn't Minecraft, you can't slash slash undo things. What's done is done." He took out something black in his pocket and said, "You are a brave man, I do not wish to kill you. We need more people like you. Come and join us, Darryl Noveschosch." 

"I'll never join you. You can find anyone to join for all I care, but I'd had enough." I snatched an axe from one of the gang members and started to swipe furiously at them. Some of them dodged but I still managed to hit a few as they were knocked unconscious. I saw Techno trying to make a wither with the black thing he just pulled out in the corner of my eye, so I leaped into the air and threw the axe to where Techno was standing. However, he dodged swiftly and instead grabbed it and swiped at me, leaving a scar on my face. He turned back to place the final skull on the soul sand and instantly, a wither spawned. It destroyed the roof of the house and bricks began to fall, hitting some gang members on the head. Techno pointed the axe to my face, the point nearly touching my nose. 

He let out a sigh, and said, "You have chosen the hard way." I screamed, until my vision became more and more blurry. The searing pain seemed to be leaving...? I closed my eyes. I heard them leaving the house, still trying to find out the whereabouts of Skeppy. A small "crack" could be heard in the distance and I felt something grazed my left arm. It was Skeppy. Tears slowly dripped down from his face. 

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have let you came along... If only I had insisted on keeping you away, you wouldn't have been heavily injured today... you wouldn't have been like this... What have I been thinking that time... bringing you with me? This is all my fault..."

I held his hand gently. "It's okay Skeppy. I chose to come. I chose to defend you and hide you from Techno. Don't blame yourself Skeppy." I planted a soft kiss on Skeppy's cheek, as tears streamed down his eyes. "I never had the chance to say 'I love you' though... Anyways..." My voice trailed off. "It was nice knowing you Zak. I wish that one day, we will be reunited once more."

I closed my eyes again, and a single tear fell as Zak clutched my body tightly, saying "Please don't leave me...". I felt the pain leaving me, everything seemed to be swirling around.

"We will be reunited once more. I love you." then everything went black while he was still clutching my lifeless body.

Skeppy's POV
"That stupid pig... THAT BASTARD! I SWEAR I WILL MURDER YOU RIGHT NOW!" However, I knew I can't. Darryl would be upset if I'd done so. He sacrificed himself so that I could be alive... all those wounds and scars on him, he blocked them for me. That's what he chose, just to keep me out of harm's way... "For Bad- no. For Darryl. I will stay alive." Tears glistened my eyes and I wiped them off. I left the house which was once our happy memories, now filled with sad and devastating ones. I closed the door and I was determined to survive.
"Deeply in our hearts, we know we would be reunited once more."

3rd person POV
Techno was on a tree, watching the whole scene from up above. "Pathetic," he said with a smirk. "I guess, I would give you a second chance. Next time you won't be so lucky when we crossed paths." He hopped off the tree and teleported back to his base.
