summer's p.o.v.
The sun beat down on my face, making it hard for me to see. Even in the woods the sun had managed to find me.
I ran a hand through my thick, matted hair. Sweat ran down my face , making me feel even more sticker.
i felt the deep gash across my forehead. the blood that had been rushing out of it was now dried up. Making my forehead a red bloody mess.
I didn't know how it got there, but when I woke up it was there. nor did I remember anything. Not even my own name.
So basically I was lost in the woods, with no memory of anything.
*********Earlier********
My sister, skylar, and I got into her car , after a long morning of shopping. mostly for my sister.

skylar was driving us home from the mall, when her cellphone rang.
" skylar, ignore it! you can call them back later!!" i yelled at her, but i was to late. she was already reaching for her phone, taking her eyes off the road.
"skylar!! eyes on the road!!"
"hmmmm..let..me just ...find my phone" she mumbled.
"skylar, let it go or we're going to crash!!"
"wait! I've almost g-"
BAM!!!
our car collided with another, sending us flying into the air. the car spun multiple times in the air.
my head banged against so many things , forming a deep gash in my forehead.
the car did one finall spin then stopped.
my head spun, making everything a big blurr. I pushed my way out of the crushed car.
slowly, i stumbled into the woods, slowly losing consciousness. then i came to a sudden stop and passed out.
*********present*******
i wandered through the woods, following the sound of water. i came upon a large creek.
sitting close to the creek, i watched the unsuspecting fish. my rumble with deep hunger making it impossible for me to think straight.
i reached into the creek and ran my hand through the water. then cupped some water in my hands and started to wash off the dried up blood.
after that i wandered in the nearby woods.
not watching were i was going, i tripped and felt flat on my face.
"owww..." I moaned.
i started seeing blurry then pitch black.

Sam's P.O.V.
my best friend Adam and i hiked through the woods. In search of the local creek.
we arrived and set up camp .
"I'll be right back , im going to get some wood for the fire" i told Adam.
i set out into the nearby woods, in search of fire wood. when i came upon a body.
"hey Adam! come and help me! and bring a flashlight!"
"coming!"
i bent down to look closer. It was a girl she looked about my age.
i heard rustling behind me. i turned to look at Adam.
"whoa?!, who she?"
i shrugged and took the flashlight from him. turning it on , i shined it on her face.
the light revealed a deep gash on her forehead.
"is she breathing?" asked Adam.
i leaned in checking for breathing. I heard her steady breaths. I sat back up. and nodded. I heard Adam sigh in relief.

we got her back to our camp and helped her get settled in.
Adam and i sat around the camp eating hot dogs. we were silently eating, when we heard groaning coming from the tent.
"I'm going to check on her" i told Adam standing up.
I entered the tent and saw the girl sitting up. she rubbed her head and groaned. I sat in front of her and watched her as she tried to focus on me.
"feeling okay?" i asked.
"nooooo....my head it...it..it hurts" she stuttered.
"here" i said handing her some Advil and a bottle of water . she took it from me and swallowed it.
"feel better?"
"yah, thanks...umm..?"
"Sam"
she smiled at me.
"and you what's your name?"
she shrugged "i don't know...i can't remember anything"
