Hi there! I'm back on wattpad :)

There are a couple things I'd like to address before I leave things open to you.

1) Why did I stop writing 'Tar-Pit Trap' initially?

There are actually a number of explanations for this, a lot of which circled around my development as a writer (if you could even call me that).

First off, Kurt and Dave were never a solid ship for me to stand by. Not only had neither of them ever expressed the potential for romantic attraction irl, but I also naturally hold my fondness for the bond that Kurt and Courtney once had. It always seemed strange considering the perspectives of Kurt and Dave in something I found rather difficult to align to them, especially when covering topics such as neurodiversity and homosexuality.

Secondly, the character of Phoenix was someone I had always intended to portray in my non-fanfiction writing, and having him play such a significant role in Tar-Pit trap seemed nonsensical, as he already exists within his own fictional universe that doesn't seem logical to include Cobain & co. in

And last of all, I stopped writing Fanfiction as a whole, because I felt the need to develop my own concepts, and Fanfiction gradually became harder to write as I grew my own stories. I came up with the concept for TPT when I was about 15-16, and I'm 20 now.

2) Will I be writing Tar-Pit Trap again in the future?

Honestly, I'm not really sure. I've lost pretty much all of the story I had, due to issues with Notes and with Wattpad. I have already encorporated aspects of the storyline into my own fiction, and developed the characters that were once Dave, Kurt, Courtney, etc into my own characters, so it would be strange for me to write TPT again as a fanfic.

3) Do you think I should rewrite it?
If so, should I use my own characters, or continue it as a KurtxDave fanfiction and include the people I did before?

I hope this does manage to reach some of the people who liked my fanfic.. I've been asked multiple times about it since and I never knew what to say until now 😅 Pls interact w this if you have anything to say, and ask any questions you might have!
